This is a great bag at a great value. I have used it on two air trips so far. What I like the most: 1. The price. I am not travelling every week, so the price fits well with my usage. 2. When fully loaded, it still fits easily in the overhead bin on a regional jet. 3. It holds a lot of stuff! I easily packed for 5 days with this bag. 4. It unzips to open like a suitcase. This makes finding the item you're looking for very easy without having to dig around from the top. 5. The laptop sleeve. I don't need a whole separate laptop compartment but I do appreciate being able to slip it in and out of the bag easily. 6. I really like that it has a pocket to hide the straps when you're carrying it like a suitcase instead of a backpack. 7. The zipper feels high quality and strong. What I don't like: 1. The loops that the shoulder straps snap onto at the bottom is plastic and I am not confident they will stand up over the long haul. So far so good, thoguh. 2. Bought this as a carry on bag for one to two-weeks trips. The large main compartment is perfect for tight packing and it fits within airline carry on size restrictions. The straps tuck away if you want to carry it by the side handle and the computer storage area is well sized for all but the largest of laptops. Have only taken one trip with it to date so can't judge its durability. While I like the packing cubes for organizational purposes, in this small a space I think there is a lot of wasted space if I use them. Also, I was not able to pack shoes in this without losing a lot of space (though this is a problem for all bags). ... show more

I was able to get a lot more in this than a regular backpack so I guess it performed as expected. However, I would like for it to be more comfortable to wear and to have more accessible storage for the small things that you normally carry in a computer backpack. I took this backpack to Japan for 10 days and it was amazing. I traveled yesterday with it to Europe and the back straps started tearing away from the bottoms of the bag. One of the straps tore completely away from the bag resulting in a injury. I am not sure if maybe mine was faulty stitching but other than the straps, great travel backpack. UPDATE: Company reached out and offered me a full refund, I instead asked for a replacement. It was at my home before I got back home from Europe.
