One of the best items I've ever bought on Amazon. I'm serious! This thing is the perfect carry on for flights. It's great quality, has tons of compartments and little extra bags for sorting out things you need quick access to on the flight or just for packing things separate from other things. It was my carry-on for a 3 week trip to England recently and held up splendidly. It's comfortable to carry around, has a long adjustment for the straps, and holds a ton for a backpack with all it's little compartments and extra bags. I use it at conventions too to carry stuff around all day and it works fine in that respect too. Can't believe I ever used a cruddy duffle bag all these years after using this.

Okay, I've been on the hunt for the perfect travel backpack for ages, and I think I've finally found it with the Asenlin 40L Travel Backpack. Seriously, this thing is amazing! I just got back from a two-week trip, and it was my absolute lifesaver. First off, the size is perfect. 40L is the sweet spot for me – it held everything I needed without being too bulky or cumbersome. I was able to pack clothes, toiletries, my laptop, and even a couple of books with room to spare. The multiple compartments and pockets are a game-changer. I'm a big organizer, and this backpack made it so easy to keep everything separate and accessible. No more digging around in the bottom of my bag for my passport or phone! The material is durable and water-resistant, which was a huge plus when I got caught in a downpour. My belongings stayed dry, which was a relief. The zippers are sturdy and haven't snagged or broken, even with heavy use. But what really sets this backpack apart is the comfort. The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable, and the back panel is also nicely cushioned. Even when the backpack was fully loaded, it didn't feel too heavy or strain my back. I was able to wear it for hours without any discomfort. I also love the little extras, like the hidden anti-theft pocket and the external USB charging port. I've now taken this backpack across the world on many trips and it is time to leave a proper review. When I am going to a warm climate I can fit a week of clothes, 15 in. laptop, toiletries, and a book or two all in this backpack and slide it under the seat in front of me as a carry on. Its size is perfect, and when you have to overstuff it a bit the clips on the exterior help you keep the contents condensed so the bag can fit under the seat. I am skeptical I could fit a 17 in laptop in there when the main pouch is full of clothes, but I haven't tried. The main pouch for clothes is huge, and fully unzips on 3 sides like a suitcase which I have found to be very handy. The laptop pocket can be frustrating to pack, because it unzips in an upside down U so anything heavy in the exterior pocket makes the zipper section uncooperative. Minor design flaw that I have learned to work around by not fully unzipping the pocket and by packing the exterior pocket last. I wish the zipper shape was a sideways U like the main pocket rather than a vertical U. So far nothing on the bag has broken or torn, the stitching quality is acceptable but I expect it won't last a decade. Should last me a good few more years though. The packing pouches that are included are very cheap and one has torn on me a tiny bit, but I still use them all and find them useful. The biggest pouch included is about the same size as the backpack (see picture). I find the material the bag is made of a bit hard to clean, so the bag has gotten some stains that I can not remove. Overall I am very pleased with the bag for the price, and recommend it to anyone looking for an under-seat carry on backpack that they can travel with and expect to last for 5 or so years. It has been a good travel accessory for me. I hope they come out with a new version with a sideways secondary pocket zipper.
