The robe is soft and well made, I’ve bought three of these. If something snags on the cotton loops it will pull into a long thread. I have bought color robes but I think white is the best as it can be cleaned easier. The color robes seem to get bleach spots on them. Fit is good. L/XL seems to be a good fit. ... show more

I really like this. I don't use towels after my shower..I just pop my hair up in a turban towel and slip on a robe. These robes are perfect for me. I like that they are lightweight and while they are soft, they are not as soft as I expected from an item described as Turkish Cotton as I have other items that are so much softer. Now don't get me wrong, they are soft and I do lounge in it, it's just not as soft as I expected (you know, like 'buttah'! ;) They don't feel very soft out of the package, but a quick wash takes care of that! ... show more

I really wanted a longer robe with a hood and for the quality and price, I really love this robe. I am 5' and got the L/XL and it fits as expected based on the measurements. It is near my ankles and I definitely could go down in size but prefer lots of easy front crossover rather than looking like a slim dressing gown but constantly fussing with it to keep it closed when I move. As nice as a lush thick towel may feel, I prefer a thinner terry weight that will dry quickly especially when it is something with a bulky shape like this. The material is ok: Nowhere near as thin and raggedy as some really cheap robes I bought in the past but washing does cause the material loops to start breaking up here and there. I've tried the navy, seafoam, and lavender. They are true to photo color and have not noticed any issues with colorfastness. ... show more

Very cozy and absorbent, and the burgundy is a very pretty color. I followed the instructions and washed before wearing in cold water. I'm going to wash and dry it again to make sure to get rid of the loose fibers. I am very satisfied with this robe. It's a bit lighter than my old robe which is better for warm weather. One of the reasons I chose this robe is the hood. I am recuperating from a broken arm and dislocation of my shoulder. With the hood, I can wash my hair (with one hand) and the hood covers and dries my hair, since wrapping my hair with a towel is impossible! I'll still be happy with the Arus robe even when I no longer need the hood. ... show more

The Arus robes are of a very good quality. I’ve bought different versions or types for about 10 years now. I’ve tried other brands when my preferred was out of stock but none compare. They are comfortable, roomy and well made. They are a very good value.
