I bought this grass mat for my dog training. The material feels soft and was easy to clean. It also stays in place my dog adapted quite quickly. The texture closely mimics real grass, which makes it easier for him to use. It cleans up well with soap and water and doesn't retain odour if wash regularly I am very happy with this purchase and the price is ok.

I have a potty trained pomsky, however, with a little bladder it means she has to go out more often than a large dog, so I wanted something available for her "just in case." However, she wants absolutely nothing to do with this mat. Up close it looks like indoor/outdoor carpeting, and the bristles are not soft- so it makes sense that she doesn't want to even step on it. If you have a pet that does use it, you'll want to put something under it, because it has holes in the bottom and the urine will leak right through. It came rolled up, so I had to lay it out with books on it to try and get the creases out to make it lay flat, but we're on day 5 and its still buckling. Personally this was not a good value for the money and I plan to return it.

I bought this artificial grass mat for my dog's training, and it has worked very well. The size is practical for balconies or indoors and doesn't take up too much space. The material feels soft and dense, and my dog adapted quickly. Visually, it looks quite realistic and doesn't look overly plasticky. The drainage holes on the bottom make cleaning very easy; it cleans up well with soap and water and doesn't retain odors if washed regularly (it's not machine washable). The edges seem sturdy, and so far, it has withstood daily use without damage. Overall, it's a functional and comfortable option for training or as a mat in outdoor areas.

Overall, the mat does it's job - here are some other things you should know... The bottom is pretty rough - it doesn't hurt my linoleum floor, but could scratch up a nice floor. My puppy really likes the grass-likeness of it. He paws at it and plays on it. I have this setting in my bathroom. Whenever I go in to potty, he goes potty on the "grass." For the most part, it keeps pee from going through to the floor but I'm sure some could make it through. I clean the floor under it when I clean the grass mat. I spray it out in the bathtub. It takes a long time to dry back out. Recently, he has started chewing pieces off of it. It's going to smell stinky if you don't clean it once and a while.

I’ve used this outside for potty training my puppy for two weeks. It started to smell so I hosed it off thoroughly and cleaned the area underneath it yesterday. Today it is still quite wet and smells awful. When my pup walks on it her feet smell awful and she tracks the smell into the house. I now have to clean her feet every time we come in and that’s many, many times a day when potty training a puppy.
