Smaller than I thought it would be, but great quality! I was going to use it as my main laundry hamper for my bathroom, but I need something a bit bigger. It looks good in my daughter’s nursery though!

We have evolved from tall plastic hampers that crack or break to wicker hampers that poke and snag after heavy use. I saw this product, loved the color and style. 72L version was pretty close to the size we have that can hold a week's worth of clothes for two people, including towels and eventually sheets. Somewhat shocked on the arrival. Hamper was folded nice and compact with a ribbon - so it had the right presentation for gifting. Once I unfolded this hamper, I just stared at it. How in the heck does this morph into what I saw in the pictures? Instructions on the product description are also included with the product on a card. I attached two pictures. The first "bent" picture was 24 hours after unpacking the product. The second picture was how it looked after I followed the "ironing" instructions. I ironed the sides for a good 10 minutes. The rope material is thick enough to place your hand inside and iron the outside. I put the hamper on it's side and just ironed away. I'm guessing I'll need to do this a couple more times to achieve pictured quality. The hamper holds it's vertical shape and stands on it's own - especially with clothes in it. I was hoping it wouldn't fold over. It is a PLEASURE to haul this product to the laundry room without plastic handles that cut or wicker strands that poke. Very easy to maneuver. If you're going to store this in the closet or out of sight - I guess it doesn't matter how it looks. We have our's in our bedroom and somewhat visible, so I'd like it to look decent with no folds. I don't think it will ever be perfect like the pictures. A metal insert on the bottom and wire around the top could have been an alternative in the construction? For the money, I don't think this product delivers what the picture portrays. Over time and use, it's hard to think this product will stand and keep it's advertised round cylinder shape.
