The only complaint I have is I wish it came with a small accordion folder in the back of the book to store a straight edge, card, or stencils. The leather feels quite good and doesn't seem like the kind that will turn into flakes after a bit. The elastic strap is there but that will probably be broken by the time this review is posted or read. I know this because I've owned similar ones before. I will say this is def a good purchase for jotting things down. Its much easier to write in than those smaller notebooks for the pocket. I'm sure they have their place but this size is more manageable for writing and sketching down rough ideas/pictures. I don't regret the purchase but I do wish they would go for a ribbon vs the elastic. The ribbon would be a better book mark. A simple woven hemp, jute or even a piece of thin woven cloth.

Nicer than I was expecting for this price! Feels very sturdy, was shrink wrapped to prevent damage to the pages, came with no scratches, scuffs, or other imperfections. The pages are a nice weight. I write with a very heavy hand, and after using black ink in this journal you can just slightly see my writing from the other side of the page. Usually it would be quite visible. It also came with stickers to create your own sections/tabs, which I didn’t realize but that was a nice surprise.

I like how the pages lay out flat so the binding isn't too tight. Pen insert is great. Came with some sticker labels and an envelope on the inside back of the journal . Def recommend and would purchase again.

I got it for the numbered pages, which it has. i like it over all. My only minus point is that it is very generic inside; off-yellow paper, thin lines, standardized printed numbers. The cover is very nice and it's sturdy, though, just be ready for the beauty to decrease on the inside, unless you like it that way.
