Likely a packing issue, but some of the canvases have dents in them from the way that they were packaged. I purchased these for practice and exploring, so I'm not too overly concerned. If these had been to use for sale or for gifts, then we'd def have a problem here. As for the actual canvas, they are pretty good. I really like this size.
