I had been looking for canvas boards. These are more firm...for me that's better. These were also smooth...for me that too is good. I usually gesso over for texture, but I'm experimenting in different ways. They are more sturdy than some other brands.

I am an intermediate acrylic painter and these canvases are probably the best ones I've used in a long time. They are as smooth as paper almost and acrylic paint goes on very smoothly. Packed nicely, well made, no loose areas, flat, and as smooth as you'd expect. Very satisfied. I haven't pulled all the canvases out but the first on the top (front of package) are as expected, satisfactory.
