Nice kit with quality supplies. Some of the paints were too thick, but a few drops of water fixed that. The canvas rippled a little when paint was applied, so it doesn't lay flat. Box says 1-1.5 hours to complete. I ended up putting two coats of paint on all colors and worked on it for about 8 hours total.     • Buyer beware. All of the paint is completely dried out.
The paint arrived completely dry! Every single paint pot is dry. I did not open this kit until after the 30 day Amazon return window so there is nothing to be done. Buyer beware!

I was excited to see that Arteza created paint by number kits. I was hoping for a quality product. I like that I received a color reference guide and a black and white reference guide. However, I thought the paint was a bit thin and cheap feeling. On the other hand, the included brushes were better than what you get in other kits. I also received more than enough paint to complete my task. It took me two hours to complete the butterfly painting. This would be a good painting for someone who is new to the hobby. Although I enjoyed this product. I do not think I will purchase another. I think the price is too high for what you get in quality and time spent. ... show more

I wanted to start doing paint by numbers but wanted to start out with something easy to see if I would like it. I loved it and I’m hooked. So easy. Everything you need. After working on this for a couple days (slowly painting it) I have noticed that the canvas is starting to warp. I will say, the paint is awesome and goes on thick. Not happy with the canvas.

This is a great beginner set! There is plenty of paint to cover the piece and the brushes work really well for this design. Some of the lighter colors are more translucent, so you may need to go over some areas multiple times, but it's not too bad.

I have done lots of paint by numbers and this rates in the top worst 5 out of about 25. Horrible quality paint. What makes a horrible quality paint for a paint by numbers? Good question my friend; I will tell you. A poor quality paint is too thick and creamy; it won’t spread or even get picked up by the brush. This makes it impossible to work with and incredibly frustrating rather than relaxing. I threw it in the trash after about an hour of trash talking with the painting. ... show more
