When I first heard of a hot foil machine, I researched the different brands and decided this would work best. I have had it less than 24 hours and I LOVE IT. I understand that Artdeco Creations has changed their name so the box I received said by "Couture Creations". Everything else is exactly the same. This does NOT work in my Spellbinders Grand Calibur. Attaching a picture. The plate is just far too thick to go through the opening. Luckily for me I also have a Cuttlebug (also attaching a pic) and it does work with that. You may need to add some sheets of paper as shims depending on how thick your paper and die is. What really sold me was being able to use my plastic embossing folders. Yes, PLASTIC! I am still waiting for the adaptor plate to arrive so I haven't tried it yet. Will update if it is a flop. Attaching a picture of the first thing I made. Used a die cut instead of a specific foil die. 10/10 would recommend and so excited I have found more uses for my dies and embossing folders. ... show more

    • Plug is for the USA on the one I got today. 11/21/20 a beautiful perfect kit
SO excited to get it. THe plug is the kind we use in the U.S. and everything it was suppsed to have in it is there. THrilled I found it as it is so much less expensive here than anywhere else for the exact same machine and packaging. Not a knock off. Can't wait to use it.

    • Works excellent but not compatible with the Gemini die cutting machine.
I have only used this to test out the machine on a few dies. So far I love it. The machine does take 5+ minutes to heat up but then it is good to go with little in btween reheats needed if foiling miltiple projects. Contrary to other reviews however this is not compatible with the Gemini. The platform is simply to high and will not feed into the machine. Luckily I also have a cuddlebug which it fits like a glove give or take a few pieces of cardstock for shims. ... show more

Person could go broke buying the plates for this machine. Toner paper, laminator, or laser printer much better option.

Although I wish the plates weren’t quite so high. I’m enjoying what I have. Really gives your project a professional look. This foil machine is easy to use. Note, you must also have a die cutting machine such as a Big Shot, Vagabond, etc. to go with this system.

Once you learn how many shims to use it is a great machine. It works just as well as the other brands on the market and it is less money. Would recommend!!
