I bought this about a month ago. The first couple times I lit a stick it was cool but made the room air feel heavy. So I placed a stick in dirt in an unused ceramic pot and kept it unlit on the dining table. It did make the room smell nice, so I left it unlit for a couple weeks. It seemed disappointing, but not worth returning because I did like the scent. Tonight I lit that stick and went outside because it was a mellow dark night to check out the stars in the desert; it's been too hot to go out during the day. Arcturus was overhead and the Summer Triangle was rising in the east, and I noticed it smelled really nice. It's been dusty and the tangelo blooms have long fallen so I wasn't expecting it. I was a good ten feet from the door. This may sound bad but I live in a senior mobile home park and I think the burning scent is just too strong for my home. It smelled nice as just as a potpourri-like scent in my great room; it was grandly fragrant sitting on my front porch looking at Antares rising to the southeast. It doesn't smell quite like the budget commercial incense I've bought. The smell when less intense is much better; it honestly smells cleaner and less chemical. It probably is real sandalwood rather than a chemical ester. The other reviews are accurate in that the sticks burn much longer than the ones that fit a craft store incense stick holder (which is why mine was in the dirt of a ceramic pot). I'm guessing it takes three hours to burn but I haven't bothered setting up controlled experiments. It may not be the incense you are looking for. But at least now you know what to expect. It's probably perfect in an outdoor tent or large room. It's still pretty nice and cheaper than a room scent with the added bonus of being an awesome incense. I love sandalwood, so I can easily imagine purchasing another bundle, though this one will probably last me at least several months.

These incense are long lasting, clean burning, and have a relaxing fragrance. No heavy smoke. So much better than the smaller versions that burn for only 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Perfect for outdoors! Fragrance is strong but not overpowering and burn time exactly as advertised at 2 1/2 hours! Scent traveled the perimeter of my 1600 sq. ft. home and even had staying power with 5-10 mph ocean breeze! Package is simply a zip lock bag so no waste of fancy boxes or cellophane wrap which I greatly appreciate! Overall: excellent product- excellent value @ $13!

To me, it doesn't really have a very strong scent. I do like that it burns for a long time but it is very smoky. Quite a few had the top of the incense missing so I had to cut that off before it would light. Overall, it's ok.

Burned these at my son’s outdoor wedding reception in our yard. Everyone complimented me on my choice of incense. Not to strong, or to weak for outdoors. Perfect, lasted 4 to 5 hours each stick, with plenty of fragrance and smoke. Will definitely buy again when my supply gets low.

They look and smell AMAZING!!!! I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT THESE! I have not burned one yet. But can't be disappointed. I will be getting more of these when i find something to store them in. Lol

takes well over 2 hours to finish burning nice clean burn not overpowering scent lingers (in a good way) well after finished burning highly recommend trying their other scents as well quality made incense !

First one burned for 3.5 hrs...and smelled worse than a burnt campfire...not a trace of sandlewood scent. 2nd, 3rd, same time burning, also same bad burnt wood smell. They are 19 inches, with only 14 being incense, there were 30 in the pkg. Held the package open and stuck my nose directly inside...not a hint of sandlewood or any other scent. Yes I did send seller an email before I posted this review...they have never responded. Would not recommend these...ever!
