Pockets for Mags are a bit tight and deep, but other than that a good bag to tote the rifle to the range or to a hunting site. Dual zippers makes it easy to retrieve and stow the rifle . Well padded; thought I might need to add the padding that came with the rifle but did not have to. The materiel is tough, well made should last years. The zipper is heavy duty and can be locked with additional small lock. The 5 exterior magazine pockets will each hold a 30 round mag with no problem at all. It has a shoulder sling and a grip to hold in the horizontal plane. I would buy again. Fits the Smith & Wesson M&P AR 15 without having to shorten the stock (which would not be a PIA if I had to). Should be able to keep a red dot or scope on constantly. May not have to drop the mag with the scope on, but have not tried yet. (waiting for the red dot) If cramped, I would just keep the mag in one of the 5 outside pockets. ... show more

I love the gun case. My Ruger AR-556 with magazine inserted fits perfectly. Outside magazine pockets hold both regular magazines and military magazines. The only bad thing is I had to go to the post office to get box because the box Amazon shipped in was to big for the carriers vehicle. 85% of the box was filled with stuffed paper. I own several of this style case. Let's face it it's priced right. You do give up some things you'd expect in a more expensive case. If you are camping or throwing your gun in the car with gear I'd recommend spending the extra money. For closet storage and trips to the range, this will work. The straps are thin including the handle and shoulder strap which doesn't have any padding. The padding is the thinnest of any of my cases. ... show more

For the price you spend it is a good bag. In my opinion it could use some double stitching in a few more spots but it seems to function fine with the rifle. The mag pouches hold 2, 30 round mags, each so it holds a total of 10 mags no problem. The one odd part about the bag for me is the clear view window. It does not seem like its needed and I would rather see more Velcro attachments for a name tag. Also, I had to take a lighter to singe up the loose threads to make sure nothing would come undone. Initially seems like a great soft case for my AR. With the stock collapsed and no magazine, it fit great. Padding seems adequate. I like that the pouches on the outside will hold 30 and 40 round magazines. It still has to pass the durability test taking it in and out the vehicle and to and from the range, but Iโ€™m sure it will do well. Just wondering if thereโ€™s a way to make it waterproof and how easy it is to clean. My initial evaluation is that itโ€™s good for the price! ... show more

Fit my 6920 with a Aimpoint Pro and a 30 rd. mag inserted. Side pockets take 30rd. mags perfectly. Not military grade but its nice and sturdy. A great way to transport to the range or a truck gun bag. I got a 2nd one after buying the first. Honestly for the price couldn't expect more.
