This item arrived neatly folded in a bag, with all tags attached. Upon opening the sweatshirt I was excited to feel how soft the material was and after trying it on, I loved the fabric even more. I ordered this item in an XL, which is a size that would normally be a bit big on me, resulting in the looser fit that I tend to prefer. Although I wasn't sure how cropped it would be, I was happy to find that the bottom reaches about mid-hip on me, so it isn't cropped in the traditional sense of the word. This size ended up fitting me well and is comparable in fit to other sweatshirts I own in a similar style. This item is a true black color, as shown in the images, and the logo across the top left pocket area isn't overly noticeable, which is a feature I like. I washed it in cold water and dried on low heat, and it came out of the laundry no worse for wear. I haven't noticed any color fading, shrinking, or pilling, which is especially great since I like wearing this sweatshirt far too much to not be able to regularly wash it. Overall, I think this is a super comfy sweatshirt that looks fitted enough that even in a slightly larger size than you usually wear, it won't look sloppy. Ordered this for my daughter and she’s been wearing it regularly, so that says something. The material is thick and comfortable, and the gray colorway is clean and versatile. No complaints on build quality — this carries a $160 retail tag and it feels like it. When we ordered it the price was under $30, so if you catch it at that price it’s an easy win. That said, a couple of things worth knowing before you buy. The length sits in an in-between zone — neither full coverage nor a true crop. Depending on your build and what you’re pairing it with, that could work for you or it might not. The other thing to note is there’s no front pocket, which gives it a really clean, minimal look that my daughter actually likes. But if you’re heading out for a run and need somewhere to stash your phone, you’ll notice the absence pretty quickly. Bottom line — if you’re looking for a warm, quality workout hoodie with a sharp, minimal aesthetic, this delivers. Just go in knowing it’s built for the gym, not as a fashion hoodie. I really wanted to love this, and in many ways I do—but one key detail ultimately made it a no for me. First, the material is fantastic. It feels high quality, super soft, and really cozy—exactly what you’d want in a comfortable, everyday piece. It has that nice, elevated feel that makes it seem like it will hold up well over time, and it’s perfect for lounging or casual wear. The color is also spot-on compared to the listing photos, which I always appreciate. It looks exactly as expected, so no surprises there. However, the lack of pockets is a big downside for me. For something this cozy and wearable, I really wish it had them—it would make it so much more functional and convenient for everyday use. This Armani Exchange hoodie is 'all that'. The fabric has a 'scuba' feel and is deep rich black. It's so soft and luxurious. The Armani signature kind of fades into the fabric so it isn't in your face, just perfect. The hoodie is a pull over style and fits great. I went with an XL so I would have room to put a sweater underneath if I wanted to, but it is warm enough over a t-shirt. I am really looking forward to wearing it on cool summer mornings and evenings in the mountains :D The length is great on my 5'9 1/2" size 12/14 frame. I love how lux it looks and feels. I'll be honest, I'm not driven by brands, but I wore Armani back in the day and so wanted to give this a try. This hoodie is actually very comfy. There is a soft under layer that also provides warmth. I really like that and it's made it one of my favorite hoodies comfort wise. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it has no pockets. I'm pretty serious about my lounge wear and pockets are a requirement. I live in sweatshirts in the winter and honestly, didn’t even know Armani had sweatshirts, but oh wow! This is my new favorite. It is sooo comfy! It literally feels like a hug and I love it. Because they called it cropped, I was worried about the length but it rides mid-hip and is not too short at all. I sized up so I could layer underneath and it fits perfectly. As shown in the ad, this does not have a front pouch or pockets, which gives it a dressier vs athletic look and the Armani logo is also in white so you really can’t see it, even when you’re looking for it. I’m really blown away at how soft & comfortable this sweatshirt is. You won’t be disappointed. *For size reference, I’m 5’6” and weigh 100 pounds and I sized up to a Medium for a looser fit. ... show more
