It's not overpowering—more of a clean, masculine scent that works well for office wear or casual outings. The initial application smells great for 3-4 hours, then it fades to a subtle skin scent. I have used this stuff for years and absolutely love it. Of course it is a bit on the expensive side, but it’s worth it to me. It smells amazing and it’s not too overwhelming. My favorite part is that it’s alcohol and aluminum free, so it doesn’t leave any nasty residue under your arms or leave marks on clothing. I just wish they still made the Aqua di Gio body wash!
