Having never smelled the fragrance that influenced this, I can only speak to my general knowledge of scents. I am confused on how this is described as a summer scent. Rhw citrus does not jump out at me. It is strong and it does last. I categorize scents by my own tolerance and I can only spray this away from my nose. My legs, back and ankles. Light mist on the wrist if that. It will last all day. It didn't choke my coworker out so a Light hand is strongly suggested. I think its a classic scent like my mother would wear and I'm half a decade young. I do think it is upscale smelling, like money but again don't go crazy spraying it. I bought this for my wife after seeing some good things online. When it arrived, I was honestly surprised by the presentation. The bottle looks way more expensive than what I paid. Really nice quality. The scent itself is beautiful. It opens a little strong at first but settles down quickly into a soft, feminine mix of citrus and florals with a nice clean musk underneath. My wife says it feels elegant and rich, not sharp or alcohol heavy like some designer perfumes she has tried. She wore it to work and I could still smell it on her when she got home, so longevity is solid. Good projection too without being too much. But the real test? She loves it.
