The sun sleeve is great for outdoor activities. the material and stitching are good and hold up to repeated use. I like the lack of logos and simple design. They are stretchy and not too compressive.

I usually wear short sleeves all summer... and have way too many freckles to prove it. These sleeves can be worn for most any outdoor activity such as lawn care, gardening, golf, tennis etc... These arm sleeves are comfortable and actually do cool your arms a bit in the breeze. I'm a tall male with slender build and long arms. These fit me fine, from under a short sleeve to my wrist. They likely won't fit someone with big muscular arms. I also will wear one on my right arm that suffered in injury some years ago and often feels very achy. It does help it to feel better. There is a seam that runs down the length of the sleeve, but I did not find it uncomfortable. Seller has a wide selection of colors. I chose light grey to reduce heating the sun might have on darker colors, but choices are great!

I got these for a probably not-typical use case - I thought these would be great as part of my outfit to wear at Burning Man. (Think: desert, sun and hot) I wanted the option of sleeves as part of sun protection, yet also have the chance to show off my deltoid tattoo, which otherwise would be hidden under a full shirt. (Plus, again, the heat makes you want to wear as little as possible) These separate sleeves worked great for sun protection, and I'm kind of intrigued by the way the sleeves work as cooling, even in that high of a heat. They worked great for me and were comfortable to wear all day.

I work in a lab that uses a glovebox system. These systems use rubber gloves that go up to about the elbow, so some arm protection is usually nice because the gloves will tug at arm hair after a while. While our team is supplied some lightweight sleeves, they really don't stop arm hair from poking through and arent very comfortable. These, compared to the others, are exceptionally better and have my coworkers wondering where I got them! They love the color, and I love the fit and feel. They glide in and out of the gloves much more smoothly and the little bit of compression makes fitting into the gloves a little easier, allowing me to work in the apparatus just a little bit longer. Overall, these sleeves are great! The color is accurate, they fit well, and I really like them.

I was most surprised by the cooling effect of these arm sleeves. I am required to wear long sleeves for work, outside, due to certain safety hazards I encounter. Lately it has been 90+ degrees farenheit and I searched "long sleeve, cool" hoping to find some long sleeve shirts designed for hot weather. I came across these instead and figured they might do the trick. Well, they did. Not only was I Osha compliant, but these sleeves did not add to my discomfort from the heat at all. In fact, anytime the slightest breeze hit them, a nice cooling effect happens. I wish I knew the science behind that. Maybe something with evaporation. Im not sure but for now all I can say is that these sleeves are excellent for exertion in warm weather. I can see athletes wearing these for compression, or workers that are required to wear long sleeves.

The Aprilswan arm sleeves have a nice feel to them and they fit as they should. You have to work them up your arms until you have them as high as you want them. I like mine to come up over the bicep and above the wrist on the bottom so I can see my watch. I have several pair of compression sleeves and these are the only ones that have a seam going up them. It is not a big deal, but you do need to make sure it isn’t along the inside of your upper arm, or they will be uncomfortable. I can usually wear sleeves for 3 or 4 hours before I have to take them off, and these are no exception. I wear them to protect my arms from the sun and from my dogs and they do this quite well. I like them and will continue to wear them.

Overall, these provide decent protection from the environment. They are very comfortable and secure very well around my forearms. The material stays very cool even on a hot day. However, these sleeves tend not to hold up well around my biceps. Would find myself consistently having to adjust them due to them slipping from my biceps.
