This stuff left the strongest, most overwhelming smell I’ve ever encountered from a carpet powder. I will concede that it’s possible I used a little more than instructions say —or maybe not — it’s fine powder, who is measuring it out perfectly for the size of the rug. I have used carpet powder before; there is generally room for error. The results were a disaster. The whole house smelled — from a test run of using it in one bedroom. I’ve been repeatedly vacuuming in there for days, windows open, fan on, and the smell is still overwhelming in that room.
