  • Quality at a reasonable price.
Size: 5-25x56 Style: VPR-MIL
I've used the scope on a Ruger American 308 and my Ruger PR Rimfire with very good results. I was concerned about the eye box size initially and it has not been a problem on either rifle. Easy to adjust the parallax which almost tells the distance as you make adjustments. Glass is very clear and images sharp. Red illumination is a bit weak in daylight, in cloudy or dark days it is helpful. Use the Arken scope mounts they are good quality. It is the first scope for me that is First Focal, and Mil Rad.... and I have to admit that I have been way late to the party.......I'm ordering another. ... show more

  • The Value is Absurd!
Size: 5-25x56 Style: VPR-MOA
Others have said it here this is A LOT of scope for the money. The glass is clear as it can be to my untrained eye. The tube and the turrets and just overall construction feel solid and built with quality materials. I'm considering Arken brand heavily now for my next build. Seller please keep your store open this was a great deal in 2024! ... show more

  • Great Scope
Size: 5-25x56 Style: VPR-MIL
This was an excellent choice. Having heard good and bad, I decided to pull the trigger on this scope. (See what I did there?) So far, it has not disappointed. The glass is clear, and the tracking is excellent. It has really improved my range time experience. I highly recommend you pick one up. When you can get one . . . ... show more

  • Huge bang for your buck
Size: 5-25x56 Style: VPR-MOA
I set this optic up on a new 6.5 bolt gun that I took to a 2 day long range class. There were multiple dudes running $2,000+ scopes and I had no trouble hitting the same targets at the same distances. Even at full magnification, engaging a 8 inch target at 1000 yrds the glass was I’d say a 7/10 clarity. Zero stop functions flawlessly and turrets are crisp and accurate. For 90% of people who are not going to devote their lives to shooting long range and are just getting their feet wet I’d say save the thousands and buy this. It is cheap enough (in the long range world) that it makes sense to get it, use it for a year and then make the jump to a Nightforce or something fancy later. You wont be losing any money as you will still have a damn good scope in your parts collection for another build. ... show more

  • Much better then the SH4
Size: 5-25x56 Style: VPR-MIL
I'm just getting into PRS22 and this is the perfect entry. I had an SH4 in MOA, and this scope in MRAD is better for PRS for two reasons. Everyone (almost) else is using MRAD, so your dope will match, but the main thing is, it's faster to dial during the stage. 1 1/2 turns out to 300 yards, rather than 2 1/2. With seconds counting, this is gold. Also, this scope is brighter and cleared than the SH4, which in PRS can matter as the targets are quit small, but the biggest upgrade is that the Eye Relief is wider, so more forgiving. This means when you're in an awkward shooting position, it is easier to look through! that is gold! The magnification is plenty, I leave mine at 13x or so most of the time for PRS. The higher mag is only good if you have time to settle in on a really small target, a long way off. In the PRS repeated process of shoot, move, dial, stabilize and shoot again, it's far easier to just set it in the middle and leave it. You can see a 4 inch plate at 300 no problem with 13x. For the money, Arken rocks, you have to pay a lot more to get a little better. Hope this helps ... show more

  • Good scope
Size: 5-25x56 Style: VPR-MOA
Just got this out to the range for the first time and wanted to share my initial impressions. The glass is great quality for the price point - it is not as good as what you would get in a Leupold but it is also nowhere near the price of a Leupold. At high magnification the eye box tightenes up but it's not bad - you aren't buying this scope for the field, it's a bench rest scope so for me that is not the end of the world. I really like the reticle and the illumination feature is nice as well. The turrets are audible and very well defined, no "mush" at all. The zero reset feature on the turrets is easy enough to set and the zero stop is nice as well. The only issue I have with the scope is the parallax adjustments are not accurate. I was shooting at 100yrds and getting bigger groups than I should have been for the load/gun combo I was shooting. I played around with the parallax and at around the 175yrd mark on the dial it lined up with 100yrds. Once I had that tuned in I was easily shooting under half inch groups which is what I expect from that gun/load. The parallax issue is annoying but I can live with it for the price of the scope with all the other features and benefits. ... show more
