I have thin ankles and calves and the bend in the top of the foot on the boot takes some muscling to pop your foot in iykyk. Once on its true to size and is very comfortable. I'm hoping as the leather gets worn it will loosen up pulling it over the foot. Had to have help getting it off too the first time.
