Not the narrow shaft I was hoping for. I have very skinny calves and looked at boot specs for months trying to find truly narrow calf boots. These have 10.5" dia shaft, which is on the narrow side, but still big. It's my problem, not theirs. Even with a floppy fit (on me) really cute and very comfortable right out of the box. Size: 7.5 Wide Color: Black Deertan
Ariat boots are superior quality, genuine leather. This makes a big difference if you have problem feet. I have a very wide foot and bunion on one foot. If Ariat's wide width fits me, it will fit anyone. The key to getting perfect fit and comfort is to mix a 2:1 solution of 2 parts water and 1 part rubbing alcohol. Saturate the toe to the top of the arch. If the boots you've ordered are shiny on the outside and won't absorb, spray the top half of your foot with a thick pair of athletic socks on (saturate the sock) and put the boots on. Wear them like that for a least a couple of hours to all day. They will mold to your foot and be the most comfortable pair of shoes you own. ... show more
