I love the 4LR technology Ariat offers. I usually try to avoid China made boots but these are so comfortable to wear all day at work. This is their best insole. I have a flat foot and need a non-slip sole to wear at work. I've had the 4LR insole with the Fat Baby but I like the look of a square toe boot and I like the comfort better. I wore these all day from day one and my feet never felt fatigued or like I had to "break in" the boot. This would make a good riding boot as well, although I've not ridden in this boot yet. I've been through a lot of boots over the years and can be rough on them. I've had these about one month, worn them almost every day, and they look brand new!

I love these boots. I bought the pair with the red shaft in a size 9. I wear 8.5 in flats but sometimes up to a 9.5 in sneakers or boots. I bought these for horseback riding and I wore them daily during a 4 day trip to visit my sister who works and lives on a cutting horse ranch. I worse these in the mud, on horses, and while walking around town while running errands. I never had blisters or sore feet even though I never took the time to break them in before all day use. While I wouldn't say there is good arch support, these boots are super comfortable and malleable enough to ride in right out of the box. I am confident they will last many years because I have had great experience with Ariat in the past. Please note that in one of my picture I am wearing this boot as well as a different boot since I was comparing the two and deciding which I wanted to keep; the red shaft pair won!

I normally wear a 6.5 but due to a large bone spur on the top of my one foot, I ordered up a half size. Love the boots. I read all the reviews and did not have high hopes. Nothing to loose with free return shipping. Boots matched the tone of dark brown as advertised. I saw someone else's review with a photo of the boots and they were alot lighter and the stitching was ALOT brighter. This did worry me, but I ordered anyway. They are like the photo from Ariat.dark brown and the stitching is not a loud pink. Very comfy and accommodate my rather significant bone spur. Without the bone spur my normal size would have worked. I only increased the size because of the bone spur.

Seems like a good quality boot, but what I received was a medium brown as opposed to the dark brown in the pictures. When I ordered I didn't pay attention to the shaft height. It's actually quite tall--a buckaroo boot--so I returned because of that and the color.
