The real leather boots are made well. I did need to use a boot stretcher to help break them in for my high inseam, as any good slip on boot. The boot is shorter and wider at the calf as described which was a plus for me. I do use a boot horn when wearing these boots.

I wear them for work in a manual warehouse environment and outdoors for like 14 hours a day. I got sheepskin insoles for them and holy crap. They are more comfy than being barefoot

I love the Ariat brand - this is my second pair, but the sizes in each style run totally different. I ended up getting a size smaller than normal. These were pretty comfortable right out of the box, but I always put better insoles in my boots than what they come with.
