I don’t care that wide sizes are listed, THEY’RE NOT WIDE. The only way I managed to get one foot jammed most of the way into one of these was by using a pair of boot pullers and then spending five minutes pulling with all of my considerable strength. I had it in my head that if I could just get them on, I’d walk around for awhile and hope they showed signs of stretching a bit. But that’s when I realized all that effort was for nothing, because I’ve got a chronically injured left foot/ankle that is always slight swollen, and there’s no way it was going to go in to these boots when the right one was that difficult to put on. I stupidly waited until I was passed the return window to try to wear them (most of the time 9W shoes fit like a charm for me!) so I’m going to try to stretch them with some leather stretching spray and boot stretchers, but I don’t have very high hopes. ... show more

I have been wearing Ariat FatBaby boots for 16 years. I have always been a size 6B, so that's what I ordered in these ('B' is basically 'normal width').
