I am an Ariat woman for sure! I love all the Ariat cowboy boots and that's mostly what I buy. These were a good price and fit me great! They are waterproof as well, and very comfortable. I think I purchased the wide in an 8.5 and they were true to size. Highly recommend Ariat boots!

So I’ve always loved Ariat Boots at least the ones I’ve gotten they’ve always been very comfortable! I moved to a different type of weather climate so the normal type of boots that I would get for me would only be seasonal and I wanted something more year-round and while this is a square to, and I guess not so “dainty” looking for being a boot for women I knew I wanted something that would work on snow, wet dry basically any type of terrain I will be walking on. And I finally got to test it out for what I really truly wanted it for when there’s ice on the ground I cannot walk when the snow has an ice layer. I never understood how people can just walk on by like it’s nothing well while I do still proceed with caution and I’m not speedwalking, I can walk normally instead of crawling or just not doing it at all. I know that sounds funny, but it is completely true. It is so hard to keep your balance on icey sidewalks if you’re not used to it. The grip is amazing. I’ve never had boots with this type of bottom. I used to always get like fat babies especially because I have a really wide foot and up and tell a few years ago I always thought oh you just size up to help make it bigger absolutely not. I learned that sizing up May give you a smidge more room in the width of your foot but it’s not gonna do anything and then the shoes actually not fitting in correctly I also have a really high arch so I have a really high arch and I have a really wide foot and I always tend to get boots or shoes that offer arch support and while this boot didn’t give a whole lot of arch support it still is so comfortable because it’s wide and then obviously it stretches out informs to your foot more as you break it in and I’m able to wear a little bit thicker socks in the winter and thinner socks in the summer and it’s not sliding around everywhere while I could probably do with an insert to help give a little more arch support at that point I think it would push up and make it uncomfortable so that won’t be for me but again I’ve worn these standing on my feet for over seven hours straight and no pain in my plantar fascia hands down best all weather boots I’ve ever had! I ended up getting an 8 1/2 C …. In my tennis shoes like sketchers for example I always get the memory foam arch support and I’ll get a size 8 1/2 wide. My true size is an eight, but I feel like that extra half gives me some room for thicker socks, while not making it too big and sliding up and down (same with the boots I experienced no slipping) so if you’ve never had boots, I figured giving my tennis shoe reference would help a little bit if you’re unsure. I also did the try before you buy and for those that have never had boots. They will be snug so even though these were an 8 1/2 C (wide) with my thinner, Hanes brand socks they were snug. Not uncomfortable just snug to wear. My pinky toe felt hugged. Now sometimes that will bother me. My feet will swell and I was worried that it’s just not gonna work for me. I walked around in them a little. and when I would slip my foot in with my thinner sock on, it would pull my sock tight against my toes because of how snug the boot was, but please keep in mind They stretch out as you wear them! obviously, I couldn’t wear it too too much because it was a try before you buy and I didn’t want to be committed to $200 if I wasn’t gonna buy. Now from experience I knew it would stretch so I tried not to focus on that, and I tried to focus more on comfort while standing and for long periods of time. There are days where I am on my feet walking or standing on hard surfaces, concrete ground anywhere from four hours on up to eight hours and while that may not seem like a lot, but when there is no sitting breaks in between except for to use the restroom really fast that’s a long time for someone that needs arch support so that was my biggest focus but anything with arch support wasn’t going to give me the proper with size or the tread on the bottom of the shoe that I needed so while trying it I obviously wasn’t standing in them for that long of a time while at home, but I would keep them on for about 30 to 45 minutes just standing. So if I was washing the dishes or doing something that would not put too much wear on them and that’s what helped me make the decision! I knew that these were going to check off nine out of the 10 things that I needed from a boot and unless I’m going get a custom boot made for me I’d say that’s a great outcome! So I kept them! It has now been four months maybe closer to five that I’ve been using them 3 days a week and they are even better in the comfort of width! ... show more

I love Ariat boots, and these are the real deal for waterproof needs. I got them wide and it adds a touch of length and width which is perfect for using wool socks . Super comfortable . Lightweight for what they are.

I’ve worn these boots for a couple weeks to work in rough conditions they’re holding up nicely so far and they are really comfortable, It didn’t take long at all to break them in. I’ve also submerged these boots in puddles and haven’t had an issue with water getting inside. Overall they are well worth the money and they’re good lookin boots. ... show more

Excellent quality as expected from Ariat but so disappointing how wide they are around the leg. I would wear these with skinny or slim leg jeans to show off the beautiful American flag detail but they look sloppy. They fit my narrower than average feet and slim ankles well though. Man, listen, when I tell you that this boot is better than my Nike air max?? I really mean it!! My daughter gets mad at me when I want to go to the mall with my jeans and boots on. They are just that comfortable!! I prefer to wear these any day of the week. Great boot and worth every penny spent.
