Description

Jeans that can handle the heat. The 100% ring spun cotton denim is flame resistant and hrc 2 rated. They're dark washed with light hand sanding and tacking to give them a worn in look. Tailored with a lower-rise waist, straight leg opening and extra relaxed fit through the thigh. These jeans feature no-rub comfort inseams, extra deep front pockets and anchored belt loops. Apt 20, NFPA 70e, NFPA 2112 rated.

Let me start by saying that the fit, style and comfort of these are great. The quality; not so much. I just ordered my 3rd and final pair of these FR pants. After only 6 months of wearing these I started noticing small holes around the rear pockets that got progressively worse over time. Then a small hole at the bottom of the zipper. They fit so well that I went ahead and ordered another pair anticipating the inevitable. It wasn't long after I got the second pair that the first pair ripped about 6 inches next to the right, rear pocket. The exact same sequence of events happened with the second pair. These feel very thick and durable when you first receive them but thin out tremendously over time and washes... even on gentle cycle wash and dry. I recently ordered a pair of Carhartt FR pants when I ordered the Ariats. The Carhartts were $15 less than the Ariats. I'll see how they compare and update. ... show more

When my husband needed work pants that were both fire resistant and not bluejeans, I went on the hunt. He ended up with three different brands: Carhartt, Lapco and these Ariats. These are without a doubt his favorite pair. He says he prefers the fit of these over the other two, plus he mentioned he liked the extra pockets. In case it’s helpful to anyone, he’s a pretty average built guy with a 34 waist and 32 length. Fit was right on target. We love these britches. We did order the correct size that is worn in regular jeans, but actually had to return first purchase and order a size that is 2 sizes smaller in waist than what is needed. In my experience these are just a bit more roomy than standard jeans in same size. I normally wear a 30 waist which is usually very snug, but a 29 probably would have been perfect in this case. It's got pockets in all the right places and is built exceptionally well. Very good pants for electricians in most if not all environments. These pants are NOT true to size at all they run about a size bigger. Very loose and too long. The material is VERY rough, stiff. Very expensive for the quality. We love Ariat, but these pants are so NOT Ariat material!

Size: 32W x 30L Color: Khaki
Well constructed but runs large and doesn't seem to shrink. Safe to order waist size 2" less than your regular pants and 3" shorter. A 33" waist should order 30-31", 33" inseam would be safe ordering a 30" inseam.
