this is a nice summer boot. i typically wear double H. i have no previous experience with Ariat boots. to me, the Ariat leather seems noticeably thinner. i would guess these boots won't last as long as Double H. however, for me, the selling point on these boots was the ventilation. my feet for sure feel cooler in these boots than my double H boots. so, for summer time these ariat venttek boots will be my go to boots. ... show more

Look about 2 days of working in them to break in but definitely need new insoles the ones they come with are typically Ariat basics.

Beautiful style, leather, finish. Even the ventilated shaft looks nice to my surprise. The only problem is these Ariat wide square toe boots are at least 1/2 size larger than normal. Most people say they ordered 1/2 or full size down to get around this. My size size is already the smallest they make (7), so I cannot go down any further. Ariat, if you read this please make size 6.5 for more wide square toe boots. I for sure will buy more. ... show more

I wear this for dressy casual. Extremely comfortable to weR all day and I walk a fair amount in my job. Probably couple-3 miles a day. As comfortable as any shoe.
