First off my feet are slightly over pronated so I need (some) arch support, these (kinda) offer that, so my feet are alright w how they feel. Second, I do tower maintenance, worn these the last 2 months, lot of climbing ladders and standing on bars and beams, spent many 12 hour shifts in em. (Don’t mind the paint, not taking that into account for this review) Overall I'd give em a 6/10. They aren't built for that line of work so maybe they'd be better for standard construction, or work around the house. OR maybe they'd be worse, cuz I'm not actually on my feet all day, lot of sitting in a harness so my full body weight isn’t put into the boots. Days I don't climb and am on the ground my feet aren't as happy with them. Make of that what you will. Not a bad boot for their price. Relatively comfortable. There’s definitely better options out there tho. Gonna keep wearing them till I find something better 👍 ... show more

I get a $300 boot allowance from my workplace so I pretty much have a choice of whatever I want. I started out with Red Wing my first year and the soles started coming apart in about 4 months for a $280 pair. Disgusted, I decided to try a cheap option and was very surprised with the quality and durability of the Ariat brand. I was able to get two pair of the Treadfast boots thinking I would get about 6 months out of each, but my first pair lasted almost the whole year. The only real reason I finally got out the second pair is because I stepped in a puddle and water got in because the soles are pulling away from the bottom a little. I wear them 5 days a week for 8 to 9 hours (truck mechanic) and I just bought two more pairs since I know they will hold up. ... show more

Not water proof, only after a month and both boots leak. I do like the fit of the boots since I wear a wide but quality is lacking.

This is the second pair I’ve bought of these for my husband. He’s a diesel mechanic and his first pair lasted two years before they started hurting his feet. He usually only gets a year out of boots before they fall apart or hurt his feet.

These boots look wonderful. I wish they felt wonderful. I've had these for about 2 weeks and it feels like they still have a little breaking in to do. That being said, I ordered the EE size because I have wide feet. These are still narrow and they look identical to the normal width boots. Additionally, the inserts are not great. Hopefully I can buy new inserts because the factory ones are comfortable for about an hour. All day comfort?? Not here, unfortunately. ... show more
