The transparent plastic is pretty cool and the LED is a nice touch. I doubt this device has any real hardware advantage over an SD Gecko, but the design is solid. My Picoboot-modded GameCube recognized it immediately and has been performing well. I’m extremely pleased.

I also used it with both Gamecube models, a DOL-001 and a DOL-101, and it worked with both. NOTE: This is not a memory card! This does not function as a Gamecube memory card. This does work with a Pico Boot/SWISS moded GC and I like that the Micro SD Card doesn't stick out as far from the front of the Gamecube. I prefer this to the SD2SP2 option since the card is easily accessed.

I have a DOL-101 so the SD2SP2 adapter would not work with my modded gamecube. (PicoBoot) I bought this adapter, threw in a 32 Gb micro sd card, loaded it with ISOs (legally obtained) and I was playing some awesome gamecube games in no time! I recommend this adapter 100%. I thought I had the micro sd in all the way but when I looked closer it was twisted a little. I aligned it and it pushed slightly further into the slot. Its worked great for me. I like that it does not have a big SD card sticking out like the other type.

I have a DOL-101 GC and I added the Picoboot mod. This memory card looks very low-key and it hides the fact that the GC is modded. It looks better that using a WiiSD with an SD card sticking out very far.

The green light comes on, but it doesn't work. The GameCube doesn't know it's there. Just says to install a memory card like before I got the thing. I'm glad i didn't waste any more on it.
