Description

Season after season, the 1800 Arctix Women's Insulated Snow Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot zippers make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable. Sizing options include a Short 29" inseam (5'1" – 5'4" heights), Regular 31" inseam (5'5" – 5'8"), and Tall 33" inseam (5'9" – 6'1").

I have been looking for some snow pants to wear when I am shoveling, walking, or just outside in the winter. I looked at and researched quite a few, and I decide on these. I love them! The only tricky part is the sizing. The Small was a bit large in the waist, and the XSmall was just right, but left really no room for pants underneath. I went with the Small, as I'd rather have them with some room than with none at all. Also - the pants themselves (thank goodness) do not have an elastic waist, but they do have a tab on the outside on each side that is elastic that you can pull to tighten - it fastens with Velcro, and no one can even tell - it is just part of the pant. And there are beltloops! At the bottom of the leg, there is a layer inside with elastic at the bottom, which goes inside of the boot to keep snow off your legs and feet, and then there is the outer layer that goes outside your boot to keep snow from falling in. It is genius! There are pockets on the outside for holding a phone or keys - and the pockets are lined to keep your hands warm and items protected. It is July, so I have not tested them outside yet, but I can tell you that just trying these snow pants on in my house for only a minute or two - they already were super warm. These are cute, cozy, and a good length. I am new to snowboarding and really just all snow activities and these worked great for my first time. My only issue is that it does not fit well around my booty…I have pretty curvy hips and with these pants they’re very tight around my butt and won’t go very far above my butt. Other than that I really love these pants just wish the fit was made better! ... show more

These pants are designed with more of an “apple” shape in mind. If you do not carry your weight in your hips or thighs then these might be true to size for you. My 5’7, 120lb daughter could not pull the XS over her legs. The small/tall is perfect length and fits her thighs great but we will have to add Velcro at the waist to cinch it in for her. I had a similar experience- 5’3”, size 4/6 in pants but I had to size all the way up to a large to get full range of motion in the legs. I will also add Velcro to the waist. It’s an easy fix and these were a great value so I think it’s worth the hassle. ... show more

I purchased these ski pants with high hopes for comfortable and reliable gear on the slopes. I've worn them a couple of times now, and unfortunately, my experience has been a mixed bag. Pros: The fit is decent, providing enough room for layering without feeling too bulky. The overall quality of the pants appears to be good, with sturdy zippers and durable fabric. Cons: One major issue I've encountered is that the snow seems to constantly find its way into my pants, even during light falls. This has been a source of discomfort and distraction on the slopes. The waist adjustment mechanism is not very effective, causing the pants to occasionally sag and not stay in place as I would have liked. Perhaps these pants are better suited for more experienced skiers who are less prone to falls. Unfortunately, if you're like me and tend to tumble frequently, be prepared to have a bit more snow in your pants than you'd like. I'm a bit disappointed that the pants didn't live up to my expectations in terms of keeping me dry, especially during wipeouts. I'll be on the lookout for a different pair that offers better protection against snow infiltration on my next skiing adventure. ... show more

I likely got my measurements wrong. I bought a small, normal length. It is a little tighter than I'd like but I can still use no issue. Very cute. The white does get a little stained outside in the dirty snow but washes right out.

Definitely not the bluebird blue that is shown on your screen. Much more vibrant color. The fit is fine. There’s pockets, and Velcro straps to tighten the waist. They seem well insulated.
