I like the silky lining and it is gathered at the bottom to keep the insulation working. I love the material this is made out of. I am a very skinny person. I intend to wear these year-round. I am a size 6 and a small is a perfect fit. I bought a medium a couple of years ago and it is way too big. I can pull it on and off of me without unzipping it, but then I only weigh 104 pounds. I bought a few sizes and colors in these pants. I’m 5’7” and approximately 140lbs. I have more muscular thighs and probably a 30” waist. I wear leggings under them when I ski. The reviews that say these run long, snug in the butt & thighs, large in the waist … all true. I could definitely get the small on but for skiing, they would be too restrictive for my preferences. The medium is a little long on me and the waist a bit too big but much better in butt & thigh space. I wear a belt with these to keep them up. The adjustable tabs on the side do very little. If you’re short, don’t buy these. As for quality, two pair had Velcro already coming unstitched. Easy fix but a hassle. The hook/loop closures at the waist don’t look particularly durable but have held up so far. The material itself is fairly durable. The zippers are good quality. Note some have snap closures and others zipper for leg openings. As for color representation, it’s not always accurately displayed. If you buy the blue, which is shown as a bright blue in pictures on Amazon, be aware that is not the color you’re getting. The actual color is dark navy blue. They almost look black. I thought they’d shipped me the wrong color but on further inspection, the tag was correct just the color representation online isn’t close at all. The other colors seem to be more accurately displayed. I’m giving these 4 stars because for the price, they’re great. Definitely some room for improvement but all good for the price. They’ve held up well and I’ve skied in them 4x so far however have not washed yet. ... show more
