  • Perfect for the thrifty, lazy GM
Pros: -The art is great. Front and back of each piece is illustrated. -Diverse set of pieces, many different kinds of monsters, npcs/pcs. -The plastic is pretty solid, difficult to bend/damage. -Assembly is easy. Pieces can be easily switched in and out of bases. -They take up little room to store. Cons: -Dragons, giants, and similarly sized creatures are a bit small, would have liked those pieces to be larger. -No explicitly POC npc/pc pieces. -Again, really happy with the selection of monsters in this pack, but there's no mimic piece (unless it is REALLY well disguised). Overall, a great set. Worth the price. I use card sleeves to keep them separate/organized. ... show more

  • Mine were very hard to punch out
The tokens are awesome. Beautiful artwork and very sturdy. I'd prefer miniatures, but with the large number included in the set and not having to paint them, it's an awesome value. I gave it four stars because mine were very hard to punch out...like stupid hard. I probably spent an hour and a half at least punching them out and even having to use a razor blade to cut through the perforations on a lot of them. I glanced through other reviews and didn't see any other complaints about this, so mine were probably a production anomaly, but nonetheless it was a real pain in the butt. ... show more

  • Awesome value. More than I realized.
My only complaint is that the biggest creatures are only 2-3 inches at best. I will say, there’s such a huge variety, I can’t wait to throw it at my first game in a while. A miniseries with up to 8 players! I also haven’t tried to attach the vases, I’ve read there’s difficulty there so I bought some cheap holders as substitutes. I will say some of them are very difficult to remove from the sheet. Most, however are not. They are a thick and seemingly sturdy plastic with high detail and have appropriate different front and back for orientation. I do think as a starter dm pack, they should have included a couple treasure chests, doors, traps, etc. it’s all enemies/npcs. The package was also extremely thin. However, there’s way more than it seems from the thin package. ... show more

  • Good Quality, Affordable Minis
I've been playing DND for 4 years now and we have always struggled with finding suitable minis for our campaigns. I stumbled upon these while browsing and I am so happy with them! The have good art work, easy to assemble, and they are durable.

  • They work well, but they should be much cheaper!
They are very flimsy and crack over time very quickly. They are all in sheets and some are cut incorrectly so they become extremely difficult to remove. They are see through in the light so I often mistake the front and back of the minis. They aren't a bad product if they were maybe half the price tbh. ... show more

  • Great for DnD
These are exactly what I was looking for. Variety and clear images. They can be a little difficult at first to pop out but once you get it, you get it. The bases are pretty good too once you get the slivers of plastic out of the grooves. Looks like when the slot was punch out they didn’t remove the plastic left behind. ... show more

  • Great product for D&D
These are slightly difficult to place into the bases. Love the fact that it has unique back and front so you know which way the characters are facing. Be aware that there were maybe barely enough bases for the kind of campaign I run. But I made it work. You may have to buy a few extra. I still recommend this product if you're looking for a cost-effective way to have minis that don't completely break the bank. ... show more

  • Very good
Excellent bang for your buck, the set has a lot of stuff in it and most of it is great. Some common beasts and monsters for beginner campaigns, a nice assortment of humanoids that can be used as PC minis. They are very thin and easy to store, I have mine in a cheap plastic case I got a walmart thats for keeping beads/jewelry separated. There are a few trade offs though. The minis aren't always easy to remove from the page, sometimes requiring a bit of force or a hobby knife to free them. It's a bit risky as I had both a knife slip out of the groove while cutting and the plastic catch while trying to push another out. It wasn't very common but it happened ona few and should be known about so you can be careful with it. Another issue is that stands are a bit tricky to use, assembling the flying stands was a bit hard since I was afraid I'd break part of it and normal stands have a whole that's a bit oddly shaped making it a little tricky to get the figure inside of it. Over all the good far outways the bad, which is mostly just mild nitpicks so I highly recommend it. ... show more
