I also used it for tree pulling, and even under a lot of tension, there were no signs of wear or stretching. Plus, the material seems UV- and weather-resistant，even after sun and rain exposure, it stayed strong and reliable. At 1/2 inch thick, it feels sturdy in the hand. It’s a bit stiff, but not too hard to work with. It’s easy to grip, and while tying or untying knots takes a little patience, it doesn’t slip or fray. The 100 ft length is very practical for a range of outdoor jobs like climbing, rigging, or building larger swings. One small thing to note，the rope had a slight chemical smell when first opened, but that went away after airing it out for a few days.

This 1/2" x 100' rope was a higher quality than I was expecting. Color matches the product images and has a standard flexible rope feel. For the price, I was expecting something a lot stiffer and rougher (or worse, slicker). What I received was a good looking, flexible rope with a tough, but not rough exterior. They did a good job sealing the ends and the outer weaving looks clean and tight. This 50' is small and light enough to be kept in the trunk of the car/truck for emergencies.

This rope is so great. I'll finally be able to create a tree swing! It is thick and strong. And it comes packed really well, keeping it safe in transit, with no tangling. There are so many things you could use this rope for around the house. And it would also be a good thing to keep in your vehicle as a rope for emergencies. Or make the world's best tree swing!

This is a good, heavy rope. OK, I'm not a climber, but this is great for a lot of other uses. Seems to be very strong and well made.

This is pretty stout rope. It feels very strong. I got it to help direct limbs as they are felled and it works great for that. I find it easier to grip a larger rope. But it's very stiff and not the easiest to tie knots but that's the trade off. Overall good rope and should last if taken care of.

I am impressed with the quality of this rope for the cost., Now...I don't plan to use this for climbing anything, but wanted some quality rope to have on hand at the cabin. I don't know that this rope is exactly 1/2"...but it does appear to be well made. The package I received did not have any frayed ends and the rope itself feels well made. I did try it out a little and threw it over a branch and tied a Swiss seat to check its sturdiness. I weigh 245 and it held me with no issues. Whether you're using it for climbing, swing sets or whatever, this is a quality product.

It certainly feels like you'd have to work pretty hard to break this rope! It's stiff and sturdy and while it can take some working with to loosen up to the point that you can use it to tie knots, you can be fairly sure it's going to hold well once you do. We're using this to tie up branches of a peach tree that are being weighed down by the fruits on the branches and it's been very easy to work with and I'm very confident it's going to hold up well over time even out in the rain and sun.

This is not 1/2 inch rope. I think its 8 or 9mm tops. Its still great for what I needed the rope for but I was expecting an 11 or 12mm rope and this is closer to like 8 or 9mm. Bundle comes rolled nice and tight. I can fit it inside my big chalk bag if wanted.
