    • Great Digital Update for Arachnid!
Upgrading from old Arachnid boards, this is great fun with a tablet! I enjoy the sound and video updates, and the online play (although there are few people available so far). Feels like the same Arachnid quality on the segments, plus the spider is even thinner than before, which is a welcome improvement. I also love how it detects most throws that glance off the board, or even miss entirely! I only miss the "robot" player for Cricket...for some reason there isn't one (there are multiple levels of robot for '01' play). Much sleeker board that before, as well - looks like a regular cork or fiber board from a distance. Convenient mounting allows for removal, if you like (horseshoe and puck mount). Although they claim it will be noisier if you use that style - it is actually quite a bit quieter than my previous boards (mounted to a wall). I would definitely recommend for soft tip dart lovers. Somehow I get the impression that Granboard is the new popular online bluetooth electronic board - but I love this one. It doesn't have any garish lights on the front to distract, either. Powered by battery or USB (no power supply included - that's a drawback for a board this price). I am a little surprised that it is so expensive, seeing as it is quite a bit simpler than the older boards...yet still the same price. It is a specialized market, of course. I'm very satisfied so far - and looking forward to more online play! Come join us! ... show more

    • Let down
Owned the first dart board for 4 days and the bulls eye is dead. I liked it so much I figured it was just a manufacturing flaw. I owned second board for all of an hour, my daughter threw her darts and hit bulls eye. Yep, registered as a miss. Tried it over and over and always registers as a miss.

    • Worked ok, for a while!
The dart board functioned well enough for casual gameplay. I wouldnt ever use it for serious or ranked play. The weakest link in its operation is the need to use the app for tracking scores and hit data. App would shut down randomly and loss data mid game. Also kills your phone incredibly quickly. The final straw is when after 18 months it just wont turn on any more. ... show more
