Best glasses I have gotten so far

I usually buy a pair of reading glasses in a pack of 3 or 4. They will last 3-6 months as they usually break at the hinge where a screw holds the glasses to arm part that goes over the ears. I have bought two other brands pretty religiously. They look good but a pair lasts 4-6 weeks because I put them in my pants and the constant movement and sitting eventually degrades the screw and they break. My last purchase, I decided to go with these. When I read they were unbreakable, I knew it was propaganda and I thought...challenge accepted. While I won't comment on their "unbreakable-ness", I will say in two months, I haven't broken a pair or even weakened them at the joint/screw. The thing is with the other pairs, you knew they were going to break because there would be a lot of play between the lenses and the arm as that screw loosen up. This would occur a few weeks before they broke. The brand in this review, there is still no play between the glasses and arm. It is still rigid, but the overall glasses have a lot of play in them which I think is ultimately absorbing that pressure my previous pair used to get sitting in my pockets at work or driving. I absolutely love these glasses for several reasons. So far, they are far durable than any other brand I have purchased. Secondly, they are very light weight. Third, the glasses aren't nearly as rigid overall as other brands which means instead of the forces acting on it targeting the joint/screw, it is being absorbed throughout the glass minimizing its impact. I highly recommend these over what I have bought at Amazon, Target or Walmart. These are in a different league as far as durability and comfort. ... show more

These are EPIC!

I always have a hard time with reading glasses. Either too right on my temple or they are just crap quality. I tried these on right away and could see immediately they block blue light. I work in front of computer all day! And these do NOT pinch my temples the arms are bendable I'm so happy about these. Two for hubby and two for my. I always get headaches from glasses and have to hear them up to melt the plastic some...so I am make them for more loosely. These are perfect right out the box. For sure will buy more. And they have little non slippy rubbers on the tips near the ears so they don't fall off. I would honestly give them 10 stars. I'm flippin' ecstatic! ... show more

Some good, but too much bad

Within 5 minutes of opening these, I decided I was returning them. The positives are that they fit ok and are very light, but there is absolutely zero chance of them lasting long-term for me. I have a big head, and they were a good width. The issues causing me to return them: 1. With the lenses on a flat surface, one arm sticks straight up and the other bends in towards the nose bridge. Because the frames are entirely plastic, there is no adjustment that can be made. Also, there was no consistency in default fit between the different pairs. 2. The arms are way too pliable - maybe that's a feature to some, but I think I'd snap them all in half with basic usage. ... show more

These are great glasses, however for BOOK reading you want normal lenses that allow blue light. They should have glasses without the blue light blocking option also.
