For kids learning swimming, it helps to have more comfort and better field of view. Not being able to look forward too well makes them want to lift their head up and not do proper side breathing etc. They (7-9) like these much better than their previous ones and they come with hard plastic cases which should help keep the anti fog coating from getting messed up. The only thing I’m not sure of about these is the anti fog coating. There are no real “care” instructions other than “never wipe the inside of the goggles with any cloth, no matter what material the cloth is”. Basically don’t touch the inside with anything if possible and only with fingers if absolutely necessary. Kids think the goggles “look cool” and seal well. They seem to be well made. They don’t get too excited about goggles, but no complaints is always a good sign. ... show more

The first pair I ordered had a leak. My daughter’s swim teacher said they must be a defective pair because they’re the brand she recommends. I had to order another pair, which was kind of a hassle. I still need to return the other pair so that I don’t get charged. The replacement pair doesn’t leak so that’s good. ... show more

After one too many goggles these were perfect!! Previous goggles did not provide good seal at sides of the eyes. These have the perfect length at this area so that water does not get in!!!

    • Have tried several goggles for toddlers, these are our favorite.

We got these for our daughters (3 and 4), and they're really amazing. We've tried both of the "normal" types of goggles, the small-eye pairs and the big over-the-nose types. Both of these had issues though. The small-eye pairs started to hurt after a while, and always had to be adjusted so that water wouldn't get in. The over-the-nose goggles were just uncomfortable, and made it hard for early swimmers to breath properly (our girls can swim pretty good, but when wearing the big over-the-nose goggles, it'd be noticeably awkward for them). These are like the perfect combination of the other two types. The eyes are large enough that they can see everything without having something squeezing their eyes the whole time, but they don't cover the nose which makes it great for them to be able to breathe easier. Maybe the best part about these goggles though is the adjustment straps! We didn't even notice until we got them, but the adjustments are very easy. You just put the goggles on the child. and pull the strap (you'll hear an audible "clicking" sound as it's tightening through the clip) until it's tight enough -- no more guessing how tight you need to make them! When you're done, you just put a little button on each side, and the straps are released, so that you can loosen them to take them off without pulling on the child's hair.
