So far so good. Easy to re-plumb. Wish it had a bit more weight or a way to secure to bottom of sump. Because of the flex hose angle, the pump is sort of floating in the chamber. But great power for the slim size.

I have been using AI pumps for awhile now. I have 2 Axis 40 return pumps, 2 Nero-3 power heads & a pair of orbit 2’s. They are all easy to clean, and in two years I’ve had zero issues with any of them. So, I might a s well stick with whats works so I bought the AXIS 90 (because there was a price drop) and plan to use 2 of these in my new 100g build that I am currently building now. While I won’t be actually installing the pump for long term use, yet, I did need 1 for the water test for the tank & sump to get the math right. But I imagine that when this tanks goes into service (October) I don’t see any reason to not have any reservations about using them. And, even if I did have a problem with it I would call AI directly as their support it absolutely top-notch! Just remember to register it with them when you do purchase it in the case you do get a bad one, and they will replace it lickety split! And then you simply return the bad one for them to examine as to why it failed. AI is a great comapany to work with. ... show more

Total crap. The first problem is that it doesn’t come with nozzles that fit standard hose sizes so I needed to change all my hoses and find connectors to use it with my reactor. Then it powered on for about 10 minutes, wouldn’t connect to the AI app, and then just shut shut down. I ended up using a $20 pump that works much better than does this overpriced waste of time and space ... show more
