I ordered the 6" version of this olive tree, and it's a lovely addition to my living room! I had a small space between my sofa and recliner that just needed a little something, and this faux olive tree was the perfect fix. The base planter is compact, and the greenery fans out towards the top, allowing it to fit well behind other furniture. It was very easy to assemble and came very well packed. There are stickers on the tree and on the loose braches that tell you where to insert them to finish the assembly of the tree. It was very easy! I did "fluff" the tree up a bit after putting it together. I didn't care for how the tree naturally wanted to spread out, so I actually twisted two braches together to get them to stay a little more close to the center. This is personal preference, but I do love how it turned out in the end. The olive berries are very realistic looking and are both green and black. They give some variation to the faux greenery and branches, making a lovely presentation. The tree is very sturdy and well built. The planter is heavy, and will not topple over too easily if you have children or pets who may be around it. I have a large yellow lab who like to hide behind my recliner when he's frightened of any beeping sounds. I'm not afraid that this will fall over if he brushes up against it. I really love how it brightened up my neutral living room and brought some life inside!
