Needed a good adapter for upgrading my iPad without upgrading the pen. This adapter allows compatibility with charging and connecting the pen to the device. Would definitely recommend. Has not failed in the last 2 years. The size is small, so keep in an area you won’t lose it easily.

Recently upgraded to an iPad 10th generation and was thrilled that it would still be compatible with my 1st-gen Apple Pencil. Come to find out it's only compatible IF you have this adapter—the off-brand USB-C to lightning adapters I bought don't work for pairing the pencil. So I'm really glad this adapter works the way it's supposed to, because I'm really excited to be able to keep working on art projects with this new iPad. I just hate that the adapter is necessary and that the iPad description doesn't explicitly specify that you need it.

My dog had gotten to my original adapter, it was in my case and he bit through it which damaged my adapter so I bought this one. This charges my pencil pretty fast, the only thing I don't like about it, it's longer than the original that came with the pencil so it doesn't fit in my case. That's a pretty big thing for me or I would have gave it 5 stars, this thing is tiny and I'll lose it in a week and have to buy another. But it's good so far.

I purchased this adapter to replace the one that came with my first generation Apple Pencil after losing it on a weekend vacation. Pros: This adapter performs exactly like the original that was included with my Apple Pencil purchase. It fits the lightning port and the USB-C ports perfectly. It even fits well against my Apple Pencil lightning port while the pencil is in its case. I usually include a list of cons on my reviews, but I can’t think of any cons for this adapter. Not a con, just a suggestion: it would be helpful if the purchase included a rubber piece that secures the adapter to the USB-C cable to prevent losing the adapter since it’s so small.
