Fits perfectly on the iPad. The magnetic connection is very strong. The iPad does NOT fall out of the folio--whoever says this doesn't actually have the first party case. It does increase battery drain, but only by a little bit. Use is very seamless and I personally like the keyboard feedback. It's very slim and looks like a regular folio. The quality of the materials is really nice as well. The keyboard is water-resistant, which has come in handy for me once. The folio protects the front and back of the iPad. It looks really good with the iPad, you can tell that Apple put lots of time into making it look nice combined with the iPad. The color is charcoal-gray, not black as it might look in the picture. I got the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio for my iPad 3 years ago. Then about 3 weeks ago, it started to fail. I'd have to take the iPad off the keyboard and reattach it and then hopefully it worked again. It finally got so bad I just replaced it with a new one. I looked at a lot of other options, including the Apple Magic Keyboard, but this one fits my personal use case best. It doesn't require separate charging, you can easily flip it back and use the iPad as a tablet, it has a good typing feel and it offers some protection for the iPad. My only complaint is that it seems like it should last longer than 3 years. ... show more

I was very excited to upgrade from an 11” iPad Air to the new 13” but immediately learned that though the device itself is lightweight, the keyboard options are not - including the Zagg Pro and the Apple Magic Keyboard.
