This is my second purchase buying this phone case and it has a great sleek design. Main flaw being it has little to no protection on the front screen of the phone. The interior of the case features a nice fur like material to keep it from scratching the back side of your phone. The case does have mag safe as it’s directly from apple but I don’t see how it justifies the $50 price tag. After a while the case does seem to break down and the silicone starts to peel off revealing the plastic making it harder to hold on to the phone. Overall good looking case but bad if you want your phone to be 100% secure from drops.

I do love all apple silicone cases, however, after a few drops they will start to chip at the bottom. They do show oily substances very easy, so be aware that grease marks or lotion etc will show and the case will be slippery. However, they are great cases and do wrap around the edges of your phone so will protect it!

This is a great, sleek case. I am a little too tough on my phone and so far it’s been okay, but it does have a few areas where it’s been chipped, specifically on the corners.

OK, I’ll admit it. I can be really forgetful. I put my phone on top of my car’s hood while I was loading gear into it, hopped in, and drove down the road. About five minutes into my drive, I decided to make a call, but when I did, my car’s hands-free call system told me there was no call list present, I knew something was amiss. I circled back toward my house, and scouring the road I saw it (barely, because the case and phone are black, and the road was asphalt). When I retrieved it, my heart sank when I saw the condition of the case. I thought for sure the phone was a goner. But, to my surprise, thanks to this exact case (and the toughness of the phone itself, I’m sure), the phone survived without a scratch. The case was totally wrecked, however, so I bought another one exactly like the old one. I did modify it, however, by adding a lanyard. To do that, I used a commercially available phone lanyard, drilled 2 tiny holes in the side of the case, and threaded the lanyard attachment cable through it. Now, if my hands are full, I can loop the lanyard on my wrist, rather than doing the stupid car hood thing. So far, no problems with the case holding up under the added strain on the side caused by holding the phone by the lanyard. I highly recommend this product.

I'm on my second one of these. The rubberized coating peeled off my old one. This is not just a silicone case, this is some sort of fiber plastic case that has a silicone rubberized coating. The fiber plastic gives it some rigidity and adds some shock protection, I would imagine. It attaches to the phone very easily and stays put. Other non-OEM cases I've used, it felt like I was going to wreck the phone trying to get it in/out of the case. I like the rubberized coating because the phone tends to slide around less in cars, boats, pockets, etc.

Standard phone cover, with mag safe --- very light and durable. Great color and most of all when I drop my phone, it protects it! Purchased one for my hubby as well.

Not sure why anyone would complain about this item, other than it is a bit expensive, as are all other Apple accessories -- but it's something people are aware of prior to hitting the buy button, so... why complain about it after the fact? Anyway, the case fits like a glove (definitely not OJs glove) and the silicone surface material has a very nice feel to it. It is not slippery, not too grippy -- just right, IMO. I also love the subtle Apple logo on the back and, more importantly, the fact that the magsafe connection apparatus is not visible when the case is installed on the device (yeah, I'm talking about that unattractive circle that looks like a mini drone heli pad painted on the back of many "magsafe" phone cases. No thanks! The camera lenses are protected due to a raised lip surrounding the overall external lens configuration, and the side buttons are responsive and work flawlessly, as they should. There is no interference whatsoever with the phone's ability to deliver sound through the device's speakers, and charging port is easily accessible, but still properly protected. The lip on the case is minimally intrusive, allowing maximum screen size and versatility, in regards to aftermarket screen cover and protection options. Removing the cover is a breeze, something important to me personally because I like to remove and wipe down the back and stainless edges of the phone from time to time. All in all, this is a great product. I take care of my stuff, wipe my phone and case down daily, hence, this case should stay looking good for quite some time. Probably years.
