I’m an Apple fangirl! Not going to lie! But... this is an objective review. I promise! Let me address the negative reviews that state the cards slip out of the pocket very easily. “Is that true? “No, not at all! You have two pockets to place items into your folio case. There’s one for cards and one for larger items like receipts or cash. The people who report having things drop out of their folio case are not putting their cards into the card slot. So umm, yeah, it’s going to fall out if you put into the bigger slot. Physics! Anyone who has a quality folio wallet case knows that you can at most store 2-3 cards. Anything beyond that is a bonus! Folio wallet cases are never meant to be a wallet replacement. They’re meant to help you carry the essentials without the need and bulk of a wallet. Also, take this other thing into consideration — Apple is in the business of getting you to use Apple Pay, Apple Wallet, digital cards, etc. So, I have all my cards in digital format. I use the card slot in the folio wallet case to hold my driver’s license and a debit card. For what it does, I have NEVER had a receipt, cash or card fall out. I even tried to shake it around to make that happen intentionally. Now onto the rest of the review! The case is made of deliciously premium leather. It’s made to endure and perfectly show off your sexy iPhone. I’m impressed with the softness and durability — especially for someone who frequently puts my phone into my back pocket. In terms of style, the picture just doesn’t do it justice. It looks sterile and horrible. I mean, c’mon Apple, you have the awesomest camera on a smartphone yet the picture used to represent the case here on Amazon. So, I took a couple of photos for you all to see! (Please pardon the cat fur.) How’s the protection? I’ve dropped it several times. I’m almost six feet tall so it took a bit of a fall. The phone stays place in the case all the time, every time. Lastly, two things that I love about this THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW: - the swipe bar at the bottom is 100% accessible! SO MANY PHONE CASES GET THIS WRONG! - the case will automatically turn off the screen or wake it up! While the second part may not sound like a big deal, I have reduced battery consumption to the point where, as a power user, I have extended my battery life by one whole day! I am not pulling your leg. I have an iPhone Pro Max. I typically need to recharge my phone about every 1.25 days. Today, I had two hour long phone conversations, texted a bunch, browsed a bunch and listened to YouTube videos (background) for eight hours. I came home with 75% battery left. Yes! I mean it. You need to get this case! This case has my fullest approval and recommendation! I wish I hadn’t let the negative reviews on here scare me away from getting it. It will improve your iPhone experience more than any other case ever could!

Well, I can say two relevant things about this Apple leather case: One of them, the quality of the material is the best, it covers and keeps mi iPhone 11 Pro Max safe and save battery life. I get it! You can easily buy a really nice folio case for your Apple device at a third of the price. Believe me, I spent hours looking through reviews of other similar cases. For every small handful of good reviews, there is a bad review that makes you think twice about buying the product... ...meanwhile, I have been buying Apple cases for years, spending more money than I should, but getting the quality I expect each and every time. In the same way you'll pay more for an Apple product over another because of its build quality, the same can be said for its cases. This Folio is the perfect case for your new iPhone Pro Max. The phone fits perfectly inside the soft microfiber lining. The case is made of finished leather. I bought mine in black and it looks beautiful. Love it more than the red color I bought last year for my iPhone XS Max. The cover does a great job of awakening and suspending your phone. Even when it is charging upright, and the cover is forced open by about an inch or two, it does not awaken the phone. No, there are no slots here to hold credit cards, though there is a compartment to hold your money. Quite frankly, I decided to steer away from Folios that offered credit card compartments as many reviews stated that the cards easily fell out of them and were lost in the process. It's going to be hard to convince you to pay this kind of price for a Folio case. However, for me, its peace of mind that I am getting a quality product that I am not going to regret purchasing months down the road when it starts falling apart. These cases won't fall apart on you.

Soft leather. Doesn’t seem like it has a magnet but it does stay closed. I’ve used it for a few days and I really like it. Holds six cards plus cash and still closes properly.

This was a swing and a miss for me. The simplicity of use is there but the execution of the fit is terrible. Everything is too loose to be useful on the flap. Nothing holds the flap (the part that holds your cards/cash) to the screen or the case itself and that keeps this from really working well. It's just too loose.

Love the product overall because I always go for apple wallet cases because of the magnetic closure that locks the phone. I wish the wallet had a feature to switch the cash pocket to another card pocket cuz I rarely carry any cash

Disappointed about this case. It’s look nice and sturdy, however, seems like there is no magnet that will hold it closed even without any card or money inside. This is a big issue for me because I bought folio case specifically to protect my display for accidentally drop. Not sure if this is a real apple product but the description says that there is a magnet that hold it closed and this case doesn’t have any. For high price like this I expected a way better product. I will return it.
