I respectfully disagree with others here who are unhappy with the quality or fit of this iPhone case. I purchased this case for my wife when the new iPhone Xs Max first came out - late January, 2018. She has used the case every day since that time, routinely overloading it with credit cards and receipts. It is scuffed and shows wear, as you would expect after that period of time, but the leather has no tears or cracks and the case still looks very fine. It has worn as you would expect good quality leather to wear. I am so happy with this case that I purchased another one here on Amazon recently when I noticed that it was discounted to 50% off. We'll either use it as a backup or replacement for her phone, or we'll gift it together with the phone if and when we replace with a new model and pass the phone down to someone else in the family. I also have an iPhone Xs Max myself, of the exact same age, and am very tempted to purchase one of these for myself. The case I'm using is a Saddleback Leather case, which is a really unique leather case that is unbelievably high quality, but does not offer the screen protection that a folio style case does provide. I'm pretty committed to the Saddleback case, though (and it is not cheap either, but it will last forever, literally). It is possible that some of the others here who have posted negative reviews did purchase their cases here on Amazon but from other third-party sellers. That can be a problem on Amazon if you inadvertently purchase from a seller that turns out to provide a product that is not the real deal. I purchased from Amazon itself, and the case I received was a legitimate Apple case, in the proper packaging, sealed and new and in perfect condition. I want to stress that this case is legitimately excellent quality. I agree that it is expensive, but for someone who does not feel the need to be changing cases until they wear out, our experience is that this case will last as long as most people typically keep their phones before trading up. Longer, in fact. It is completely worth the money, and even more so if you find a discounted price as certain colors are right now here on Amazon.

While green isn’t generally my first choice, it’s a very good dark green. I love having a case that allows me to carry a bit of cash, my DL, etc. The leather is sturdy and smooth to touch. I had another in a different color that lasted over two years before it showed enough wear to need a new case.

This case is pretty nice. I got it for my father because it replaced his old one that he had. Bad part forgot and left the phone in the case on the trailer and it fell off on the road. And went back to track it. Found it. And after all the vehicles and tractor trailers road over it. I got it. And the front of the screen was messed up but the case held the phone still and the case was not in to bad of shape. But the most part took the phone out of the case and the back of the phone the glass never broke. So I have to say for the money and the Quality of the case it’s worth it.

Good portfolio cover for phone. It does not stay shut, however ... there is no magnet. And if you spill something like a drop of water on it or leave it next to your keys in your purse, there is a mark left.
