Took this phone to metro PCs. Yes they were able to connect it but it’s not truly unlocked I paid $25 to connect get it home and it willl not except my apple i.d and will not allow me to make a new I.d. For everyone who bought this phone and then later complained that it was incompatible with their carrier, your an idiot. If you took the time to read the description in detail you’d realize that this is a GSM PHONE!! It’s your average iPhone and it has a decent enough battery life. I got this phone for myself after my old phone broke. It came in a day earlier than what amazon said. It was shipped with FedEx. The phone comes in simple packaging. Mines had some light scratches on the screen but nothing that you can see when it is on during normal use. The phone had a Bluetooth issue at first but apple customer support had me update the IOS from 13.2 to 13.3 and everything is fine now. My biggest complaint (which is minimal) is that the battery was said to be at 80% health (from amazon's renewed product statement) but mines showed at 78% percent (no big deal for me). Overall, this was a great buy and recommend to anyone who wants a budget phone. Edit: after having this phone for a little over a month, the cellular has stopped working and apparently a big issue on iphone 7's and the phone keeps restarting. Returned. I dislike the battery dying after about 3 hours and low storage. I use it for calls, internet, and text. It’s ok for now.

Got the phone in May and end of August it would not do the update and was basically useless. I bought an 11 and tried to trade this one in on it but Apple would not give me credit because it would not boot up without the update. Too late to return it to Amazon. Nice while it lasted but I expected more than 4 months out of it. ... show more

This upgrade allowed my spouse to learn how to use the smartphone finally. I recommend anyone looking to purchase a cell phone get an unlocked phone to may it easier if shift carriers
