I have owned several 11” iPads over the years. I splurged for this 13” and I am glad i did. The extra visual space is greatly appreciated as i age. I have been a techie since the 1970s. I have seen. Lot of tech changes come and go. As an avid reader i bought the B and N Nook then Kindle and finally downloaded the app to my ipad and haven't gone back. It take it with me everywhere. The retina display is so pleasing, eye catching and easy on the eyes. I love the filters and other accessibility features that let you tailor this iPad to your specific needs. Although to be fair most of these features are on all newer Apple products. i love that I can use filters to reduce the blue light effect, especially at night. It is feature rich. I keep mine in a case always and find it holds up well to minor drops, bumping etc. The battery life is very good. I can use it steady for 6 hours at a time.

So as a whole, it’s great. I upgraded from the iPad 10. I really enjoy the 13” screen, it does everything I need it to. I own multiple MacBooks, with the new liquid glass update being able to crop apps make this feel like a MacBook in ways. I can definitely see this being my go to Apple device. The one thing I will say, is if I’m being completely honest comparing A14 chip in the iPad 10 & the M3 in this, whoever says that there is a drastic difference between the two is a liar in my opinion. I have a full Apple ecosystem in my home, my wife is MacBook iPad, Apple Watch, iPhone. The same with me, only difference I have MacBook’s, iPad, Mac Pro, Mac Mini you name it, i’m the stereotypical Apple “fanboy” until it comes down to the M chips. The average user is not going to notice a difference at all in these processors. So if you’re looking to upgrade solely based on being an M chip, I would pass. If you’re looking for the larger screen, it’s a huge plus. But don’t fall for all of the YouTube videos, Reddit post, all of these people glorifying the M chip, because it’s just a processor it’s not insanely noticeable unless you’re using it for a task like video editing, creating music. As a whole, I love it. Just don’t fall for the M chip praise.

My Granddaughter told me to get this for the living room because I have had health issues and I had a heavy laptop. Well she was right! I received this on a Sunday and that Friday I took a bad fall. Amazing quality, rock-solid reliability/stability, fast performance, and an amazing selection of accessories. I have tried phones and tablets running several different OSes over the years, many of which don't even exist any longer, and I always came back to Apple and iOS. I am very happy with this purchase. I'm not an apple fan but my employer requires I have an iPad for my job. I decided I wanted the Large screen and I am SO glad I got this. It's so much easier to see what I need. Definitely would get the large screen again in the future. I'm pleased with the battery life. It's got the wifi connectivity so I can use it to navigate when traveling, run all my systems and submit orders, respond to emails anywhere etc. The color is nice. Seems like a high quality product and the value of what I got for what I paid is awesome.

Was impressed with the performance and light weight. Unfortunately shortly after importing the user data from my old ipad I discovered that the new one had a row of dead pixels about a quarter of the way down the screen. I reset it to factory settings and returned it to Amazon. Literally less than 1 day of use before a failure. In their defense though, the row of pixels wasn't entirely dead - colored full screen looked OK but a white screen showed up the issue very readily. Also Amazon is being very slow in refunding my card for this item - unlike what they do for lower value stuff.
