Price is right for 4K

A great and reasonably priced 4K monitor.

Cheap in all aspects (31.5 inch)
Style: UHD
Good size and resolution, but that's about all. Brightness is limited, but still sufficient for general purpose use if the area is not brightly lit. Color reproduction is... weird - hard to find a mode that's close to a natural palette. Some websites that used to be clearly displayed on my old monitor, now have some areas that appear washed out, and I can't find a way to improve that. Viewing angle is extremely narrow - when shifting my head away from the center line but still within the screen area, I see immediate and strong brightness change in the opposite 1/3 of the screen. The screen itself seems to be very fragile - accidental hand touch may produce discolored spots that take a long time to dissipate. I use it with macbook at 3840x2160 resolution, and kind of got used to the web browsing, but found it to be best suited for watching full screen videos. With all that said, while I was evaluating and trying to figure out if I want to keep it or not, I missed the return window and rather regret it. ... show more

Great monitor for the price
Style: UHD
Overall this is a great monitor. No need to adjust color cause it was preset perfectly. Very light weight. Great price for what one is getting. The only things I do not like are the button on the bottom instead of the side and there being nowhere in the enclosed documents about how to use the buttons. ... show more

Pay less and you get less
Style: UHD
I thought a large 4K monitor for less than $200, what's not to like? Turns out plenty. Washed-out color (and no menu control to increase contrast); dim and faded picture (and no brightness control). I set it side by side to my current 4K monitor (same size, of a well known brand), and the differences are abundantly clear. I regret being enticed by the cheap price, and now am thinking of just returning it. ... show more

Worth the money

So far so good
Style: UHD
There is plenty of screen real estate and there are enough input options to satisfy (I assume) most peoples' needs. I don't find the color to be as deep as my 27" Philips 4K monitor and this also has a fixed height base, so I'm knocking off a star. Otherwise, does what it should do!

Cannot recommend for Linux users
Style: UHD
For some strange reason the monitor shows flickering horizontal lines when in 4K ran by Linux. The same hardware ran by Windows is flawless.

There is no good result from being cheap
Style: UHD
You get what you pay for. Going cheap will not lead to good results. If you need a true 4k display, I don't recommend this.
