This is a quality product, but it’s not as thick as the climbing ropes at your local gym. You have been warned! Great if you have smaller hands. It needs to be as thick as the battle ropes in the gym please change your rope to a thicker rope. Then it would be AWESOME!

Sturdy hook and just the right length for my garage gym... not sure about the over powering smell other reviews mentioned. I did open it outside to be prepared for the smell but it was very minimal and I was able to take it inside right away and no one in my house even noticed a smell. As for the materiel, it is a bit rough like a rope you would find outside or on an obstacle course and it is a little thinner than expected.     • Great rope for the price
I bought this rope a few months ago and have been very happy with it. I have read various complaints about the smell of the rope and shedding fibers. Yeah it does have a light odor but nothing terrible. I haven't noticed a large amount of fibers coming off. Bottom line is that it's a climbing rope. It does it's job and is a pretty decent price, so who cares if your hands smell a little after climbing it? Just wash your hands after you're done. Boom, problem solved. ... show more

So far, this rope is fine. We use it for climbing. My only complaint so far is that the green end coverings slipped off almost right away. I got them back on and secured them with hot glue. You may want to consider just sticking a hot glue gun down inside of those green end cap things before you even use the rope, because getting them back on when they fall off is a bugger! ... show more

Twine/ hemp material. Does stretch. Works for good for sled pulling. I had intention of storeing this outside. Unsure of how long product will last from elements and use.

This rope has turned out to be really wonderful, though I will give this caveat: when it first arrived, ot smelled very strongly...almost like fuel. This is most likely from the glue used in the production process, though I'm just speculating. To resolve this, I let it air out for a week outside. Now the smell can't be noticed unless you stick your nose right up to it, but if that's the biggest issue at this point, I don't care. Good purchase, all things considered. ... show more

Climbing rope attached to a ⅝ eyebolt installed through a 4x8 pressure treated timber outside about 13 feet off the ground. Works as planned. Likely remove from outside during winter months to preserve integrity.

Good rope for the price. Durable enough for your home gym. Do not expect some pro gamer quality. Just a good rope to squeeze a good workout.
