Please do not use a bow larger than 45 lbs. DO NOT taut this net. It's meant to be loose to absorb the energy of the arrow. It don't include a stand for the backstop, you need to mount this yourself. Attachment is need for hanging. It stops the arrows perfectly with an easy arrow removal. Ten times better than I thought it would be. Stops good velocity BB's with no visible effects on the curtain backstop. But the kicker is that it absorbs almost all of the "SOUND ENERGY" created by each collision, into its fabric! It is indeed 2 mm thick and nicely heavy. Quality is way up there. I bought the 5' x 10' and folded it in half for a doubled 5' x 5'. This hangs in the doorway of my garden shed by the eyelets using deck screws. I also use a horse mat installed in the back of the shed for extra security. I tested using a field tip with my PSE Stinger bow at 60 lbs. I use a 50# longbow with arrows on the heavy side and this does stop field points. Mostly. The very tips of the field point poke through even after hitting the straw target which does leave lasting damage. Just out of curiosity I did use a broadhead out of the packaging, so not super sharp, and as expected it did go through. It did however keep it from smashing into the brick wall behind it, so that's nice. ... show more

Decent back stop. Currently using a 45lb recurve and the field tips go through a little. If you shoot a heavier bow or are using broad heads I don’t know that this would work very well but for my use it’s perfect.

I set up this tarp as an archery backstop for my backyard range. As I’m a beginner, I only fire from 10-15 yards. This tarp does great at stopping my arrows shot from a 35 pound bow.
