The desk is well built and a great black color. the drawers are very spacious and much sturdier than i expected. the instructions were pretty easy to follow. the only few downsides I have about this desk are that the drawers make it difficult to fit a chair under the desk, and the black color can make any smudge and speck of dust stand out. Lets start with the dislikes: there is only one! See how it looks like my pc tower is a good size? It was a struggle to get it to fit because the 2 front legs weren't wide enough to slide the tower in. That's the only dislike. Now, onto the positives! OH MY LORD THIS DESK IS SO BEAUTIFUL! only in certain lighting can you see that it is engineered wood, and you can feel the grooves in the desk. other than that, it just looks like a white desk. #2 THE DRAWERS ARE MASSIVE! which makes it wonderful for storing whatever you need. I also like that there is an extra support for the drawers underneath (looks like a flat ladder which is great for support). and Lastly, there isn't ANYTHING i would change about this desk besides the front legs. wonderful purchase and i had everything i needed to build the desk with even extra parts incase i lost one. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful product. built today 9/8/24 will update review in a month to see how the desk holds up. 11/6/24 UPDATE The desk has been used for a few months now. It is absolutely WONDERFUL just as it was on day 1 and it is holding up nicely. The drawers are still holding everything nicely and they are pretty full. I liked the desk. For my new small space it's quite functional Its lightweight but quite functional. Be prepared to use a 5mm hex bit with a battery powered screw gun, The direction say not to assemble alone, but I did. Be careful following the instructions. For instance on page 6 it says to insert 6 pugs with no explanation of what they were for. It turns out they are drawer stops.. Also the monitor shelf requires (because of the narrow spacing a mini socket set, such as the Husky flex head microdriver set which I found at Home Depot. Agree with the reviews saying this thing is stout. Has some braces in the back which aren't shown that add to a solid metal frame. TIP: get a driver for the allen bolt and it will save you a bunch of time. There are a lot of tight spaces where turning the allen key tool is tedious. As always, check the directions for orientation of parts carefully. We had to back up a couple of times due to inverting pieces. This could be assembled alone but is much faster/easier with two. I would definitely buy this desk again. Typically in this price range, all you get is junk. My son loves this desk. Note the shelf is very minimally elevated and narrow. Be sure your monitor, etc fits on the space. We are going to be getting a vesa arm to run two large monitors when my son upgrades from his single monitor. ... show more

My son loves this desk. It's sturdy & has lots of storage. It was super easy to put to together which was a wonderful but complete surprise. Well worth the money for this desk. Very sharp looking.
