The media could not be loaded. I've use hand held sprayers in the past that pumped the paint. I really like this gun. It's pretty easy to use and cleans up easy. You can soak the parts in a mild solution of soap and water. I spayed some Rustoleum on my car and soaked the parts in water and a small amount of Awesome, which I've always used for cleaning Latex. I did 2 coats thinning the second coat an additional amount. The second coat went on incredibly fast with a wider pattern. I'll probably use this gun for wood refinishing and some high gloss latex. By going with a thick to thin paint and manipulating the air pressure I can tell it will adjust to a really good coating after some experimenting. I've used compressors and spray guns in the past, but at 62 I want fun and easy. I paid $2500 for the car with 150,000 mi on it, so I knew it wasn't going to be a top notch paint job, but I covered the cancer on top. My advise is to try this gun it's pretty cool and will spray. Great for small jobs, but knowing me I would spray a long fence with it. The turbo will put out a mist with a little over spray. Start with the Air Screw at half to full so it works. I saw a lot of reviews that said the gun wouldn't even spray. Thin by 15% and if that's not working thin a little more. ... show more

Haven't done a lot of spray painting so I wanted an inexpensive option for some smaller projects and learning how to use a spray gun. There was some slight damage to the box and plastic parts packaging but it seems like everything was included and undamaged. Instructions were pretty clear but an exploded parts view would have been helpful. Nevertheless, assembly was fairly intuitive. Using the attachment with the largest orifice, I painted a small night stand after practicing on some cardboard and watching a couple of youtube videos on best practices. Initially there was some intermittent skips, but after adjusting the spray angle a couple of times, it painted smoothly with good coverage. Not sure what the initial problem was. I needed to paint the wood shingles above my garage door and knew a brush would take too long to get in all the cracks of the shingles. This sprayer worked very well for that. I hand brushed my garage doors before I purchased the sprayer and wish I had it for that also. I used the largest orifice for the eave shingles. Two coats. I also painted my entry door with the sprayer with a smaller orifice. I removed the door and laid it horizontally to spray it and used two coats. I am happy with the outcome. It did require a lot of masking on the glass and removal of hardware. Also I had to mask the eaves so there is a lot of prep time and cleanup time involved. I added some water to the paint but did not use the cup to measure consistency. I poured the paint through the mesh filter suppled and it takes time to go through it. Clean the sprayer as soon as you are finished so no paint sticks to it. Using a water-based paint makes it easy to clean. I would hate to clean it with a solvent or oil based paint since there are a lot of parts to clean. It would still be worth the trouble for large projects like a fence or deck. I found a similar type sprayer at Home Depot as shown in the photo. The price on this was much better. ... show more

Because I am tenacious I spent two days trying to work around the numerous issues I encountered with this item. I absolutely hate myself for ignoring some of the reviews on here and purchasing anyway. That's why I'm writing this review, so that it helps someone else make an informed choice. It's terrible. First Red Flag for me should have been the reviews on here. Then the fact that there are hardly any video reviews for reference. Not on all of the social media sites I use. This brands online presence is almost none, so if you find yourself like I did soooo many times, trying to find some tutorials or POV resolutions for these issues from other people...good luck! It took me two days to paint one room and halfway through the second day I gave up. This thing spits...I troubleshoot according to manual, it sputters...manual. It splatters, it overheats, it clogs every few minutes. Before you ask! Yes I did the viscosity test and properly thinned my paint. It was useless. Now I'm left with wasted money, wasted time, a huge blister on my hand. Listen to be honest the money doesn't bother as much. It's very cheap. This sprayer is ok. Simply that. So I had been tasked with painting my new home, simply because I painted a house 15 years ago one time and my wife believes I’m qualified to do anything for some reason. I roll painted the first bedroom and thought to myself, “Self, there has got to be a quicker way.” But was I wrong. DO NOT BUY AND USE THIS IN A HOUSE IF YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT OVER SPRAY. Also, I didn’t need to paint the ceilings but this isn’t the tool for that. Now if you don’t have to worry about over spray then this is awesome. The learning curve is odd with this and it gets heavy after one room (I had to paint 6 in one day). Paint runs easy and is manageable with a roller real quick. To be honest I wanted to give this a two star but I handled oil paint well after I thinned it 7:1. My shoulder is what is known as “rekt”, and I have one last room to paint and I will roll it. I would NEVER suggest buying this, and tbh I’m only keeping it as a reminder of my mistake. ... show more

This is my first time using a paint sprayer. I was trying to paint my entire house with this but that was probably too ambitious; I only managed to paint maybe 1/4 of one side before the sprayer stopped working and started to overheat so I had to give it a little break and just hand rolled the rest of the wall. When I first turned it on, I found it very easy to use (it gets heavy to hold after a while but I guess that's to be expected) and the coverage was nice and even. It was actually pretty fun to use. But again, I wouldn't use it for bigger projects like painting a whole house...maybe a door or something would be fine. But can't use it for too long. I'm not too upset over that though considering how the low cost compared to other spray paint machines. ... show more
