To begin, I've never purchased shoes online because of potential problems. I read reviews and yes, these boots did fit me size for size. I was honestly surprised, but that was my anxiety. They arrived a day early; like Scotty: under promise and over deliver :) The instructions are in Chinese, but google lens fixed that. Standard sued shoe care instructions. Nothing dire. A couple of loose threads here and there and stray glue marks around the seam where the sole meets the fabric boot upper. Again, very comfortable, I use an insert, and yes!! They are cool and ventilate well. After only 2-3 days of wear, I think these should last and give me my monies worth! I understand that these are not bespoke hikers, but it's a good looking shoe/boot, they ventilate and they're comfortable. And they were not $300-USD. I'm not comparing this pair to that price point. If I can get a year and a half or two out of them. I received my monies worth.

Boots came a bit larger than expected, yet overall materials seems good and boots feel comfortable enough. I'll change review in case boots proof to be worse than on the first look. Manufacturer website suggest writing review for a gift, so this is for that purpose.

I have to wear tan boots everyday. I have wore Oakley, Under Armor, Reebok. I didn't want to spend $150-$200. Found these and they are as good as any I've wore in the past and every bit as comfortable. Will definitely buy again. The only thing i would add to them is a side zip like Reebok. But that doesn't take away from these boots. Worth every penny, especially at 1/3 the $. All boots only last about a year so why pay more!
