I don’t recommend machine washing. It shrunk 2 sizes. Very flattering dress. Fabric is soft and forgiving

The dress looks just like the photo, truly a dusty rose color. It’s quite wrinkled, and I’ll probably send it to the cleaners to have them wash and press it professionally, I don’t own an iron! But the suggestion in the item description to purchase the extra large size was definitely correct, even though I’m 5’5” 135 pounds and thought the medium would work, they were right! The smocked top is very comfortable, and sleeves cover my upper arms to just above my elbows, which is what I wanted covered. I love the pockets, and I am overall very pleased with my purchase.
